Is that even possible? I’ve seen an Engineer and Warrior do it once, but I don’t think I’ve seen any runes or anything else that would let any class besides mesmer summon a clone.. I’ve asked around and have been told that it must be a hack of some kind. I would’ve taken a screenshot of a player who did it today, but it didn’t occur to me to do so at the time, and I wasn’t sure whether or not it was normal.

The only way that I know of is by reflecting the last hit of the mesmers scepter auto attack, it makes a clone of the one who reflected it instead of the mes. It was pretty funny and confusing when I first did it on my Warrior.

I’ve done this before on an engineer. Yes, it’s as simple as reflecting projectiles. It’s pretty weird when it happens.

had it happen in wvw it was quite hilarious and i ignore it because the clone of the enemy did blah damage as a mesmer would know that … Due to the damage from confusion being half in pvp compared to wvw /pve running a scepter is useless to a mesmer… So you wont see it much… If the scepter/confusion had some form of minor buff in pvp then maybe more mesmers would run scepter/torch… but atm I don’t really see it happening
