So what can we do to improve it ? Honest question.
Many of us cannot forgive this secretive attitude though and giving the community more information of what is being done would do so much to their motivation to play.
I really want to know what keeps this attitude or policy going ?
Is it maybe related due to what other games of NCsoft experience on the market ? So there is understaffment ?

The community is not hostile by nature, it is just the treatment towards the community which makes them hostile.

A big e-sports game which is a MOBA got into its current state due to the developers listening to the players and taking good care of the communication with them and not keeping stuff in the pockets, especially opening a PTR to let players test new upcoming patches.

P.S.: Bring better features in, it is a long-time investment. We are happy with CA, spectator, seperated queues. Also please some less mindless to be grinded reward system. 2 years with 10k glory to reach rank 80 ? Really ? For what takes 1 month maximum in PvE ( cultural armors ).

go to MMO-Champion and read the pages and pages of blue posts where “they” discuss balance decisions, upcoming changes and give examples of what the development process is like. That game is by no means perfect, but their communication is pretty astounding compared to Helen Keller here.
