oh i little like the idea of a Football team thing
at start people can choose Roamer ( goes far and helps middle)
Bunker Goes Middle
Trooper goes Middle dps support can but dont need stay on spot
HomeBoy jumps between middle and home
Defender will check for Lord
and so on those Jobs could be picked at start or applied due the build automaticly which people have or it could be that on Queque u say roamer Bunker etc
how is that ?
The fact that the default chat in the matches is (green) local, instead of (blue) team, and that the game lacks shortkeys to change between chat channels and doesn’t bother to send invitations to everyone in the same team to join in a common chat talks a lot about the level of mismanagement/disdain this part of the game has.
First pings should make a sound. Haven’t check options if I can turn it somehow on but doesn’t make sound for me. I don’t watch map 24/7 same as I don’t watch chat. This is again “no VOIP” issue. If Anet won’t understand this, PvP is badly hurt by it.
In LoL you have pings with sound but LoL is top down view and moba game. VOIP is imo the only solution. Have it optional, possible to turn it off.
I usually try to communicate, say how many goes where or if someone is incoming. But! I can type pretty fast with all my fingers and imo most people probably can’t.
Since PvPers are probably not the one making most money for Anet, they dont care. By the design GW 2 is what WoW was, not in number of people playing, but in intention. Just a profit thing, it is not about making the best game for players as some try to do.
We either get VOIP and will have some communication like in Counter Strike / Planetside 2 or we won’t get a VOIP and there will be that 1% rare number of people who actually use the chat after the match has started.
Yes.
