theres a booster to gain rank in WvW. theres also a booster for gaining level in PvE. booster for glory points. why not booster for rank points? i mean rank means nothing anyways i just want to get the cool finisher. im happy you make money, everyone’s happy lol XD

Because levels in PVE and WvW are meaningless already.
Also rank point boosters would make it pay to win because of the achievement points associated with ranks.

With constantly boosting Rank points gain (like with this weekends +500rp) and no retroactive rewarding it’s really hard (I don’t want to say ‘impossible’) to distinguish a bad player from a good player only by their rank. Thus, except for the finishers and higher number next to your name on scoreboard, the rank system is absolutely useless and no one cares about it in its current state (which only worsens).

So, may I ask, why are we even keeping the ranks?

Because rank points will be retroactive for that title bug and if exclusive rewards are tied to either titles or ranks or both plus ladder’s then the structure will be complete.

Sounds fair enough. But is this really going to be the case, or it’s just wishful thinking?

I know the title track will be fixed, but what about the reward being tied to titles/ranks?

Ye I stopped playing because I am sick of their kitten. Really bad decisions they make again and again paired with plain ignoring of the community.

Just checking the forums from time to time to see if stuff gets changed but it just becomes more and more unlikely that I come back with the non existant progress/refunding for veteran players.

Pretty much…keep in mind that most of them (Like clik) just farmed hj all day long (Nades on zergs gg) way before sh farm kittend in…they just went to an even faster way with sh but they used to farm rank points since start..so we could say most of them are both hj heroes AND sh farmers, there was no way to get r70 that soon going tpvp or even hj farm without “sh boost”, no kittening way at all..
