We should have a 1 time option after the first minute just vote to concede /surrender , if the vote is 3/5 for yes just end the match.
You don’t get any point of course , so people can’t abuse this, but we can all agree :

Why you ask ?
Well a lot of the time with solo queue you end up with teams made of people who think they’re Batman and it’s just a horrible experience.
They are not necessarily bad/ noob players , just really bad at team play and coordination.
You can correctly determine 90% of the time if it’s a loss in the first 30 seconds of the game :
– 2 on close and the other team has 30-40 more points than you because they outnumbered and pummeled you in the to the pixelated ground – It’s a loss
– people chasing enemies , fighting off point and not capping – It’s a loss
– people getting pummeled because instead of fighting , you see 3 of them trying to finish instead of cleaving and concentrating on the fight – It’s a loss
– people going all Batman trying to save the day all by themself and flaming on team chat when they die – It’s a loss
– people don’t regroup and go on 1 bye 1 to be slaughtered like cattle – It’s a loss
– people killing an enemy on a spot and instead of staying there to decap, they just run for kills thinking this is CS or other game and leave the point still capped for the enemy – It’s a loss
And so on
Anyway by the first minute when the score is something like 50- 150/200 + it’s pretty much , you guessed it, – It’s a loss .
This may sound stupid, but after the first minute if things are bad, they stay bad, players flame, afk , or just feed the enemy, and you have to sit there for 5-10 minutes just wasting time, waiting for the match to end.
People can always vote NO and suffer anyway, but it would be nice to have this option.

if they made it so losing team loses no pips but give other team 1 pip + 0 gain to MMR it would probably be fair.

if your whole team can acknowledge that they cannot win to another team, it should be fair to give them the win/pip than to fail 500-0 and lose a ton of pips

Matches are ~10 minutes anyways, no biggy. I’ve had matches start really terribly, but after a few solid team fights the match turns in our favor. If there were a surrender option, I’m sure that people would take it instead of fighting it out and eventually winning.

Come backs do happen.

I dont even like when people “surrender at 20” in league and those games can be 45 minutes +. If your losing that bad your match will only be about 6 minutes anyways just tough it out. With your suggesting games would only last as long as the mid fight then people would just give up and no one would ever get any pips

The team that surrenders doesn’t get any points/pips. The other team gets it pips/ rank points like they would normally do.

No, this would be a very bad thing. We have enough people hissy fitting when something doesn’t go their way immediately. It will encourage bad behaviour like this and poor sportsmanship. Anything can happen in a match, you can NOT tell 100% of the time how a match will turn out from just the first minute. I’ve seen many matches be turned around for many different reasons.
