So after watching the devs talk about the game my only conclusion is that the game has been full of bugs and unbalance so far and i doubt they will be dealt with anytime soon or that they can even handle the amount of bugs in the game.
Every few sentences i see one of the devs saying something about sigils being unbalanced or stats being unbalanced or runes being unbalanced. This is more then 1 year into the game. Seriously wtf have you been doing. You have designed a game that is full of unbalanced things and bugs.
Having to rework stats 1 year into the game says quite allot about your game design and professionalism. So it took you guys 1 year to come to the conclusion that berserker stats where by 50 % better then all the other stats ? This is just embarrassing. Having to balance everything every month with nothing new coming into the game tells me a lot about how efficient you are at balancing. No skills have been added except recently with the healing skills, and no runes or sigils have been added and yet you have to balance the game every month and it’s not like small balance changes either. You have to rework everything every kitten month. Is this game in close beta or wtf am i playing here. Can i have a little bit of consistency ? This is the only game that has a flavor of the month class. In every game i have played so far i was looking forward to patches coming out but i find myself dreading the patch day in this one hoping for no more nerfs or bugs.

No, not the bad kind; this is my first with fotm and if i wanted to play garbage i would have picked some chinese mmo not pay for gw2. Not saying that the pve is garbage, just the pvp part of the game, for pve the game is quite good.

My conclusion is that none of the developers play a shatter Mesmer or has even the slightest idea how their intended nerf to PU will affect other builds.
I am so disappointed in them.

Played wow for 8 years including arenas from s1 till last season and RBGs from s9 till last season. Every single season at the top of ladder while reaching 2200-2600 rating with 7 different classes (in the arena) and consistantly in top 3 top RBG teams eu.

It never was as balanced as GW2 is now, besides S7 maybe. This season in wow started with a warrior representation of 25% in 3v3. That means 75% of the teams you met at 2.2+ where warrior teams. Thats not fotm?

Im not saying GW2 doesnt have any issues, but classbalance is quite ok. Some classes could use some tweaks to add some depth/proper risk/reward. Some specfic abbilities could use nerfs or buffs.

I’m sorry i never played WoW but how long did a season last ? Flavor of the Month is not the same with different flavor every 6 months. Also i don’t really see what is the reason for pointing out bad balance in other games.
GW2 community has been more than helpful in pointing out what needs to be changed in order to improve the game balance but not once have the devs listened. Such a helpful and passionate community i have yet to see in any mmo, but it’s being ignored. There are so many good suggestions on the forums from smart players that understand the mechanics of the game that if even half of them would be implemented the pvp aspect would be improved by a lot.
PS: seeing a dev at min 11 talking about how an ele takes 2 one handed weapons instead of a two handed weapon because of the on swap effect, Elementalist…. the only class that can’t swap weapons…. Gz

I dont know man… Saw so many good suggestions on the forums and on the streams.
Arenanet says they read the forums and hear the community. I dont really see that, at least regarding rewards and balance.

I gave up long ago. Cant take this game serious anymore.

JOB CREATION – think about that, why fix something completely when you can build in flaws to fix later making it appear like you’re actually doing something.

Anyone who says ‘GW1’ for an example of no FotM pvp needs to tell everyone they didnt play it. GW1 had a changing meta based on OP buffs and the new classes they added. Ele was removed from GW1 GvG for AAAAAGES because of Me/E, Warriors were almost removed at one point because of D/A spike, Hexway came and went throughout its lifespan based on Necro/Mesmer/Monk elites being nerfed and buffed. There are many other examples but please dont say ‘GW1’ when someone asks for an example of no FotM MMO because you’ll be mistaken or a liar if you do.

All MMOs have a rotating ’who’s the best now’ system. Ones which don’t just havent been patched in a while.

They have listened, more so than others but hey, you’re going off of what you perceive so carry on I guess.
