Cool changes but...
after months away, i decided to hop back in getting an email about it and seeing a post on facebook….tried the changes, did some nice things to my fav professions..went to play some spvp.
waited 15 minute for the first que, waited 10 minutes for the second que. first two games my team lost 40-500 then 20-500… (i think i did well, but even if i didn’t, score shouldn’t be that bad even if it was 4on5) then I logged off tried again that evening, had 4 more games with afkers and leavers at the start in EVERY single game (maybe i have bad luck today, regardless this is my experience coming back). Needless to say, there was no fun to be had. I liked that there is finally an armor set I can purchase….but because i’m so disappointed with the game and it feels like it is dead (literally was 6 other people in the mists that I could see vs like a crowd when I last played) I really couldn’t rationalize spending a dime on it.
Too many core issues were ignored, they didn’t listen to the fans until long after they were fed up and left. It would take an ENORMIOUS pvp push, which i don’t think they’re willing to invest in. TBH, there are VERY cool pvp centered mmo’s around the corner…..i feel players will be too rooted in those games to care about it if/when they do fix pvp here.
“The grass is greener” argument about games from unknown companies that have not been released yet. Let me know how that turns out.

Who said they were unknown companies? And who says I haven’t had my hands on them already? Lots of assumptions you got going there in the attempt to sound cool. FYI there is one particular i’d like to go nuts about….sadly I cant, but in a month i’m sure you’ll be hearing plenty about it.
And the grass is already greener on games currently on the market if your into competitive pvp.
I’d still give Arenanet some more time. Sure, we’re all waiting for the stuff they promised so big and it’s all going tormenting slow.
But for me the best thing is that we’re looking forward to those things so much. And that means that we like the game and are eager playing it. This is what I like most about this community…
But for common opinion: omgplshurryarenanet i want gw2 esport!!!!!111111 zomfg
