I know that arena net wants to just have 1 game mode but tbh it just gets boring. Even mist seems to be half dead in my server. I can’t get any of my mates to play pvp. They play pve or not play gw2 at all.
I really hope that there could be more game modes what you could play… after playing over 100tpvp games I just can’t even force my self to log in. Since I only want to play pvp but it is not fun anymore

same here and the mist on my server is pretty dead also. I hope they add new games modes and not new maps for the old game mode.
Mists & guild are pretty dead here too. Only conquest won’t cut it for long, bring back the goodness of the first Guild Wars or find more stuff to add, else the competitive interest will fade away. Not talkin about people playin mainly W vs W

Conquest mode is the main reason for the imbalances in PvP gameplay. The assumptions that led to its creation were alright, but it just won’t work in the long-run. Replacing it with something like GvG from original Guild Wars with more entertaining objectives tailored with new mechanics and capabilities in mind could lead to the PvP we all want so much.
