I kinda wish there weren’t as many video special effect edits… I think I would have enjoyed it more just straight up as the footage speaks for itself

I definitely learned that desperate decoy is pretty magical…. No one interrupted mass invis once, not even the interrupt warrior...

When this meta is over mesmer will be king again and that is not because they all are skilfull players. If you dont belive whatch your vídeo and see how mach damage you did with clones/phantasms. Even when you cannot attack the AI did it for you.

The AI does almost nothing for you, if you don’t believe me try playing count’s spec which he dreamed up while high on what I can only assume is new york grade A-bomb.

- You have no idea where the real mesmer is RIGHT AWAY.
- You can immo the player with a ilusion without getting close – Illusionary Leap and then swap. After that you use that high risk skill called Blurred Frenzy.
-Bluried frenzy its only vulnerable to retaliation.

And i have not problems with mesmers. I have problems with AI. Classes that use AI don’t do PvP imo.

So you can Immo the target in a safe spot while swaping (changing places with the ilusion without walking to the target you know) and do the high risk skill blurred frenzy.

So if the AI is useless in your opinion you should not mind ANet nerf them. I dont mind.
If you still want to see the usefullness of the ilusions, see the vídeo again. There are many fights there to watch.

In the first 2 fights the mesmer goes in stealth and watch what the AI is doing… yea… useless…

Countless, you play very well, but I had a hard time really following and analyzing the play b/c of the screen-shaking and other post-production. While it does add to the epic-feel, I lose my place quite often.

Yeah no problem kind sir, yeah there is always a happy medium between raw gameplay and editing in which I try to stick to when making stuff like this. Although I probably should have chilled it out a bit in the beginning from the feedback I have been getting :P Other than the over edited beginning of the montage It’s been all positive. So I will keep that in mind for the next one

lol.. mesmer isnt easy by any means.. u may say that.. but when you go up against a person that can actually play mesmer.. and then ull be verry suprised.. people think you can just hop on a mesmer and be a god.. simply.. not true by any means if ur bad.. you will suffer.. heavily.. comming from experience ive been playing mesmer since the release of this game.. and any mesmer ive come across.. has yet to take a point from me in tpvp at all. they make SO many mistakes.. waste all there cooldowns.. when they dont even need too and wind up dead in the dirt. and thats the way i like ya.

Yeah I probably should have taken out all the pan and zoom to match the tempo of the song, some people like that sort of thing, some people don’t. And Seno that scene with the guardian getting the bursties was more to kinda show our burst with the team more or less, if you make a something like this when it takes oh iunno coordination and syncing your clips with the music along with good gameplay with good teams and players then perhaps you will understand.
Furthermore, I thought I would take the time and check out a few videos that you made Seno since you obviously know how it’s done , and oh my goodness was I not disappointed. In your video “(#1) Top Mesmer Dueling on 1 vs 1 Server (Guild Wars 2)” did you pick up those players off the street who just bought the game in a attempt to make yourself look good?
