We need a queue and leaderboards just for deathmatch.
What this games needs is more deathmatch
deatmatch isn’t bad idea… map itself is horrible though… i can’t see crap half of the time because of random walls/stones/trees etc.

I’d rather them remove TDM and the map itself and introduce 2v2 and 3v3 in a map with a little less terrain. An arena-style map with semi-limited LOS so we can have some real PVP Esports! My blades are ready.

You have to keep winning a 5v5 for the whole game with little to no breaks. It requires no rotation, but your team has to be on point combat wise. I’ve seems single player throw courtyard games by playing awfully, no room for weak links when the only way for the opponent to gain points is kills.

You have to keep winning a 5v5 for the whole game with little to no breaks. It requires no rotation, but your team has to be on point combat wise. I’ve seems single player throw courtyard games by playing awfully, no room for weak links when the only way for the opponent to gain points is kills.
you just discribed a different game mode to conquest of course it requires less Chess like tactics and is more about team comp + active play and in any team if one person is weak he lets the team down hence why its not Pug friendly with randoms unless they understand the concept of team work rather than Rambo / tunnel vision someone trying to get the kill only to be killed themselfs or going for stomps in silly situations where thier team mates peel and recover him from being stomped .
though then the silly person continues to stomp blows cooldowns and leaves himself open to Ranged attacks then going down flipping the board because of his poor choice and ignarance of working as team as to why some players in a group of dedicated stompers to some are push/drivers and peel/stick specs.
it looks random at a pug/solo level but when you have regular scrimmages vs other guilds im sure it is a entirely different matter after the first 5-10 games then its a whole new level of gameplay.

Yes the map is terrible, so many objects getting in the way of playing the game.
Deathmatch is the top of all MMOs PvP, there are other game modes but where there is the choice of deathmatch it always rises to the top. Anet fears this, has since day one so they make the deathmatch map a pure mess and make it never show up in ranked.

TDM is real PvP and it should be supported. I’ll remind this thread that the mode is anti casual that’s why it was so poorly introduced and controlled,a similar situation is Fractals’ rewards. It’s unforgiving and would promote real competitiveness and learning. When it first came it was popular but MMR,bad management etc. discouraged it.
Why do you think Stronghold got so much good public feedback it’s easier,casual and they putted it on a golden plate. They don’t a competitive community outside of tournaments.
