Has anyone wondered why courtyard gets selected more often than it should? I mean I know anecdotal evidence isn’t evidence at all, but wow. 4 times that map got chosen with just 1 vote.

I wonder if I should do a statistical analysis. But getting the requisite sample size would take too long.

Wouldn’t it be awesome if in the patch notes one day it reads:

“Fixed a bug in which courtyard got chosen more often than it should have”

or

“Fixed a bug in which developers were trolling the players”

Fixed an error in which Courtyard did not have it’s own queue additional TDM maps were added to compensate.

Or

Discovered a code block with the comment

i used to hate the map but its growing on me. with a team smart enough to stay together and knows there class fairly well its an easy win. i think if everyone knew not to run off alone people would like the map more.but 99% of the time you have one team that scatters and gets picked off.

IF you get the map, just log out.. My team will do this all the time and the hope is ANet can grasp how much hate this map has..

Does not matter if we can win easy, the concept of the deathmatch is NOT something the pvp community wants.. And for the folks that say they do, you are wrong.. There is a reason this is removed from ranked pvp.. It is horrible and needs to be replaced.

No, he shouldn’t just log out like a giant baby throwing a tantrum because he didn’t get his way, ruining the game for everyone who actually wanted to play Courtyard and finally got their wish.

As for the OP, it’s just luck on your end. I’ve not gotten Courtyard in over a month. Instead I just get Foefire for over half my matches. And I really, really hate Foefire.

Agree with this guy don’t ruin it for others, many actually like TDM they just introduced and managed it badly but no SH for some reasons…I have a deep hatred for foefire as well I hate seeing it as my favorite map they should remove that useless feature.
