Can you please remove courtyard from ranked rotation until you’ve made it into either Elmination or something playable?
Spawn camping has never been fun, in any game, ever. Why did you decide to introduce a map which ALREADY had terrible feedback for the duration of it’s existence to ranked ? ….Was it too difficult to accept that no one liked the map so you forced it down our throats?
You guys do understand that there are 3 exits from the spawn point for each side, right?
You guys do understand that if you don’t want to die in 3 seconds, you need to clear some distance from the zerg instead of just jumping in their AoE pools, right?
Skilled players have already caught onto this, but if the enemy is huddled at your spawn point, you should take the right exit, run around the side of the arena, and stay out of LoS until your team can regroup. This kinda goes for every map but is more important for Courtyard.

PvP mobs don’t LoS as good as pve mobs. Wvw is pve too.
Yes. wvwvw is basically a champ farm, but that’s not what this thread is about.
PVE forum is that way.
If you keep jumping in get rolled over. You and your tean chose it if anyone think courtyard is zerg fest it was a choice of players. Even wvw has roaming/squad aspect because the players chose it they weren’t forced into it.
To all those complaining of zerg you were part of it as well you made it happen. The center is not the only fighting zone the map is big enough ,you just don’t want to explore it and just want to roll over people. Hope it doesn’t take you 2 years to adapt or are you waiting for someone to become famous with TDM meta that you want to abuse. You should worry about bugs courtyard is survival not a traffic road.

I’m fine with courtyard but you need to accept that it is fundamentally different from conquest. If you want a team death match then do it right. Do something like annihilation where nobody respawns until everyone on one side is wiped out. then make it best of 3. I can see that being fun, 3 quick teamfights.
It is a map that should never have been added into ranked or unranked queue. It is funny. So many people asked ANET to remove skyhammer from solo queue. The ANET response?? Not only will they add it to ranked queue now, they will also add in another bad map to ranked queue.
I sometimes think they make decisions based on what they know will annoy the players.
Forcing people to leave their spawn after 20 seconds creates a “stagger” that makes then man down in every fight for the remainder of the game…
Example player X and Y die and go on 15s re spawn, players A B and C live for another 30 seconds before dying, then they go on respawn. 5 seconds later players X and Y are forced out and they are 2v5 for the next 10s, more than enough time to be killed…. The cycle continues. Change the time for players to respawn to either wave ( full team must wipe to respawn) or long enough to adequately regroup.Ps: I’m tired of farming bad players 500-0 every kitten game
