Hey guys, since the last patch sPvP games have just become too laggy to the point where they are just unplayable, however, when in the mists or PvE, I don’t experience this kind of lag at all. Skills are activating atleast 20+seconds after pressing the keys, and I end up seeing people running into walls and teleporting about. I don’t think this is a problem on my side, because my latency in other games/PvE are absolutely fine. This occurs atleast nearly every game, and being in an organised tPvP team, It’s quite annoying. If anyone can shed some light on this situation I’d be really grateful. Thanks!

you mean lag like that? i was nowhere near the warrior and i ate his 100b in the face. no skills activate when i press them and well… its not lag on my side either.

Yeah, thats kind of whats happening in my case aswell, I’ll see players warping around the map and just die whilst waiting for a skill to activate. And how frequently do you lag this bad? Nearly every game I lag… and its a shame because im a huge fan of sPvP, and when faced with lag like this, it makes it nigh on impossible to even play a single game. And when on the off chance I do get into a game with a reasonable connection, I’ll find myself lagging 1-2 mins after.

i can confirm it’s mostly on spirit watch.

Other maps are bearable, at least in tourneys ( still very very laggy )

I get it on the other maps too :/. Its strange because my friends who are playing with me live relatively close to me get none of these problems, maybe a bit of lag here and there but nothing this substantial. And I dont think it’s a problem on my side because when I’m in the mists or the PvE side of the game, I experience no lag whatsoever.

i have lag on other maps too, but it’s less than on spirit watch.

And when you face pre-mades 50% of the time, after 4-5 match you call it a day a log back tomorrow.

It’s infuriating.

I would play 8 teams tourney if queues were not sooooooo long.

Yeah, they need to work on balance at the moment, and the solo queue function either needs to be removed or revamped entirely. And being quite a big fan of sPvP myself, I really do hope they resolve these connection issues.

Recently (today) I have been hearing reports and I have also experienced myself sever lag followed my several disconnects on this map. Has anyone else been experiencing this?

Yeah, its happening to a lot of people. Doesn’t help that the map is terrible in the first place either.

At least we can thank Anet for not putting it in the tournament rotation where it would be rangers to win :P

That’s ok, Capricorn sucks anyway.

I have been getting lag on capricorn to point where its unbearable. I know its not on my end because i have no other connectivity issues.

That’s what they say about everything. So this “has already been notified and we working on it – posts” are being posted for e.g. to flame-sword bug or tournament-chest-bug. These posts were made 5 months ago… And now guess if they are allrdy fixed: Hell no!!!

Haha, that’s my topic. I didnt even see it when I looked for it again. Good to know though. But I really hope it’s fixed soon. Right now when I get to Capricorn in hotjoin I end up quitting back to the Mist. And tournies are somewhat of a pain with the lag. >.<
