Crusader Amulet Stat Change
No, they should not change crusader amulet, they should just introduce a new amulet with the stats you want.
What’s the point of keeping useless amulets though? Noone in their right mind would take Crusader over the dream amulet. Gotta save that 10 gold too. :P

crusader amulet can be useful to certain professions with the right builds.
introducing pvp commander amulet would be nice.
There is a reason for this to be ferocity. There are classes that can build around getting crits out of their traits/sigils/runes instead of the precision stat. Bad suggestion. People are already running crusader, inform yourself first.

I am currently playing crusader. It is fairly easy with some professions to get high crit chance without precision. So crusader allows to keep decent DPS with some tankiness.
Ranger can run Remorseless. Engi has crit chance in Firearms line. Not saying this is all competitive but it is good that the amulet exists if someone makes this stuff work at some point.
Regardless of professions being able to build crit chance. There is no build inwhich the 500 ferocity is better than an extra 500 precision.
Ferocity is the only stat in the game that requires another stat to be useful. Putting it on an amulet with no precision inwhich stat selection is overly limited is just straight up stupid. Defending it is worse.

This statement is just wrong. Let’s take the most extreme example: a reaper.
This reaper has 50% crit chance in death shroud from the “Soul reaping” trait and can build 50% more from “decimate defenses” depending on how much vulnerability the enemy has. Then there is fury for 20%. If you want to push further, there is a potential of 2% extra per condition on the enemy. I believe there is 13 conditions, that makes 26%. So in total
50+50+20+26+4 (base) = 150% crit chance without any precision.
Obviously it is capped at 100%, but since you won’t always have 25 vuln and 13 conditions on the enemy, you still have pretty much guaranteed crit chance.
So you have no reason to get precision. On the other hand, with all these crits, you want ferocity.
Now, away from this extreme case. 560 precision is 26.7% crit chance. That is a 13.3% increased damage if you have no ferocity. 560 ferocity is 37.3% crit damage. That is more damage as long as you have at least 36% crit chance. It is not that hard to reach in general.
The ferocity is pigeonholing more builds than it’s helping forcing them to take precision traits, runes, and sigil to make it effective. Precision opens up more options, even for Reapers.
To be honest, what I’m asking for could even be considered overpowered. Anet wants players to make sacrifices when designing a build. They don’t want players to get everything they want in a build so that it becomes substantial stronger than any other build available for that class. To think, however, that ferocity is better than precision is blatantly wrong.
If a player takes Marauder they can take traits, runes, and sigils to increase their survivability. If a player takes Crusader, it’s not so easy to make up for the precision on most classes.
It is clear one cannot have all possible stats combinations (or can we?).
If you want power, precision, toughness, you have knight amulet.
The crusader is probably not the first stat combination I would have come up with. But I actually like it a lot. It forces you in high crit builds, but if you manage to do so, you have very high sustain (toughness and healing power are the 2 sustain stats, vitality is a burst survivability stat) and high power (almost same power and ferocity as marauder). If you can take advantage of it, this is a very strong amulet.

knight is
1200 toughness
900 power
900 precision
i want a
1200 power
900 toughness
900 precision
and the new commander stats kinda fits the description with
1050 power
1050 precision
560 toughness
560 concentration
but it is not yet available as a pvp amulet
