We collected gold in the game to buy several custom arena’s for the guild. I bought the first one yesterday and turns out that the custom arena isn’t meant for guilds. It’s bound to my account. So something the guild bought, is solely in my possetion and control. And the later is really a pain in the you know what. Only I can change the settings of the arena. So when I’m not a round, the arena loses most of it’s possibilities. Every time my PvP team want’s to tweak the setting towards a fun game mode, I have to stop what ever I’m doing and change the settings.
Also, it’s a big security risk for the guild. Should I leave the guild or stop playing, my guild will no longer have access to the arena that they bought with guild gold. It’s the drama from guild commander tags all over again.
Anyway, purchasing custom arena’s with gems, while glory is useless and pvp’ers don’t have gold … great stuff. I know that the extra content is payed for by people who buy gems. I bought them myself to. But using custom arena’s like this really gives a lot of difficulty if you mean to use it as guild property. Instead, make a gem store item that alows people to swap between complete builds with a mouse click, that will surely sell a lot.
Well, could I at least give some users admin rights over the arena so they can change the settings?
