When all the devs says: “this is perfectly balanced”. Why not make a new crafting skill, or use a new propety on olds, to let us make custom stats on the gear?
And in pvp why not let us chose the stat sets betewen 0 and the max normaly alowed?
Why this? Cose more builds more fun. And we really need other stats to make this profounder and with more chances to win! (with more combat styles). Cose im really boored see like 12 stats that i never can use cose just 1 or 2 is the most efficient on pvp and, i left the game for this.
It will unbalance? it will be so hard? it will be unnesesary? it can bug? Anwser what you think, and if you are a dev pls implement this!

when the players know esactly the skill of the other player to dont be confused?, i mean “you always are confused on this game” cose the skill is not always predictable, you can do this, or the oposite, just cose u dont know what the other will do. There is a lot of examples, but none easier than explain you this, to say. I mean i gota tell you the skill of 10 players playing a match and its use on this match to explain you this is true? but is necesary? u cant see the evident?
Play wuv wuv if you want more stat combos. Most of us want a game where gear plays as little impact on success as possible.
the problem dude is that the plays is always the * same, and if u dont got a over powered build (thing that will change with this idea) u dont feel the plays rewarding. profiteable or helpfull, for your boored mind. And what? if u want to play a “Who hit first wins” go play Mu online or counter strike.

The problem here is that the stats can be, believe it or not, imbalanced. Someone could max out power beyond something currently possible, or condition, or do some other crazy stuff. Plus, there are things like Berserker Amulet which is balanced beyond the original intended stats.
Simply put, such a way to customize stats freely will create massive exploits. I’d rather just have ANet give us more amulets as soon as they sort out the balancing than have everyone be maxing stats to become all-round unbeatable builds.
You don’t want full customization. You’ll get things like nomad and dire. You want multiple pieces of jewelry like amulet and 2 rings in the existing combinations so that you can mix and match.

Except with the current amulet system, gear has a huge impact because it limits which builds can be viable. If you’re an elementalist or guardian, good luck running an amulet with no vitality. There’s no option to get a little bit of toughness which would make DPS builds not die nearly as fast.
