like srsly anet? havent you ever thought about it? if a players DCed almost near endmatch what would happen?

players dont even get their rank pts at all……………………………………………

If you DC every 3 secs you shouldnt pvp. Just stick to zerging in wvw or pve. Noon will notice there.

lol? this is actually a flaw in design on how they give their “rewards” to players, i dont think they should ignore this, in general players queue up for solo and team queue for almost 5mins, plays, and then a player DCs ( which is not surprising when my line is fine but somehow the SERVER decides to boot you, pretty sure regular pvpers knows what i mean). and then dont even get your “reward” which is your rank pts.

LOL. if you are here to reply sarcasticly pls refrain from posting in my thread. this is not an argument. rather someone in the team i think forgot all about an issue like this.

Im quite “regular”. Rank 50+, been in the top 100 and pvp pretty much every day.

I never had these server side DCs that you speak off. I must be really lucky.

What i do have is a lot of 4v5s where ppl have issues like yours (its never their own connection or PC that is the issue). Weird isnt it? In fact half of my games where 4v5s today…so much fun. And ofc everyone was the victim of anets server side problems….right?

I can tell u for sure that those kinds of DCs exist.
I played 3k+ hours of gw2 and got hundreds of dc’s that where totally not because of my internetconnection – proofed by many internetrelated things runing side by side with gw2 and don’t get dcs (example: skype, ts3, steam multiplayer games, other mmos i run in the meanwhile – everyone of those had not even a single dc or lagg during the gw2 dcs).

100% there are dcs that don’t come from your internetconnection, can’t tell if its the server or your gameclient that bugs out in those moments but it happens (most time in WvW for me as well as sometimes in PvP, but mostly in WvW).

I must be extremly lucky since i pvped for 1000s of hours aswell and never had issues like that. Besides a random pre patch DC that seemed to be server wide.

im rank 50, and i dont get what does rank have to do with a design flaw such as this again?

who likes a 4v5 in pvp? nobody. point is, you DC, at the NEAR END of the game which has NOTHING to do with your connection, and you dont get your points, thats all im pointing out.

Fact: Not new news that ppl dc from pvp games

Fact2: you dont get your rewards if you DC near end

Fact3: the old reward system doesnt have that issue, i dont mind if they find an alternative method to fix this issue

TWICE! at the end of a game! (between 30-100 points) and both times i was awarded dishonorable stacks!! -_________- ! Screw the reward! why do i get dishonorable for laggy servers?
