Daily Achievements for sPvP are bad
Their intent is to get players to try new things. Unfortunately this means they likely won’t make changes that conflict with this.

I’ve tried every class as is xD
The main issue I see with this is it hampers players like me who are trying to get really good on a specific class.

You can login, do that achievement, and then swap to your preferred class. If I understand correctly, the PvP achievements (like many of the others) are now easier and quicker to do on an individual level than before.
It’s only 1 win during the day. If you want it get your 1 win then switch back to whatever you were on b4. It’s not like you have to play that profession all day.
Find an uneven hotjoin match, join either side.
Once autobalance volunteer pops up (it becomes available to everyone), click it. Free win.
The more useless you are the more likely your teammates are to abandon you and trigger the autobalance button.

to be faceroll at the high levels, because it
needs to be accessible to the casuals and bads.
The point is is you get better at a particular class by playing it repetitively. I’d rather not play class-X to get achievements when I need to get better on another class…
This may not be what you want to hear but the new dailies are intended to get you out of your comfort zone, if that means playing a new class most people are willing to do that. If you don’t want to change classes then you’ll just have to go to WvW and kill a sentry.
Edair. But allies-allies will fight by your side”~Cobiah Mariner
All this is true. It is about getting us out of our comfort zones and all, but matches are now really unbalanced. Today some matches had only guards or necros on both sides. Sounds fun at first, but this trend will continue through the entire window until the next class come into focus. That, to me is the biggest problem with these new dailies for sPvP.
Problem with this class specific achv win is:
When you played class that you are not comfortable with or not properly setup as it isn’t your primary choice, you will be gimping your team. This will cause getting a win on that class even more difficult.
They actually designed this class specific daily win, so ppl that has no interest in that class, join spvp to just scrub around, ruin team play and complete their daily.
And like Kythan ^ said it ruins class balances every single day.
Sigh.

A good way to get better at your class in spvp, is to know how to fight other classes in spvp.
The best way to know how to fight another class, is to know how that class works, and by playing it, teaches you exactly that.
I am the type of player that has a “main” and hates playing alts, but by playing around with other classes in spvp, it makes playing my main that much better, because I can learn the timings and weaknesses of the classes i am fighting.
I’m really bad already with my main class. I play 10 matches and loose 9 so… guess wvw it is from now on.
The 1st daily was really amazing for me, I did 3 PvP dailies in about 40 seconds.
Logged on my eng.
Joined a hot-join match and it was a 4v4 and the score was (150 – 460) so I joined the one with 460 points.
I ran to a point that was being taken by a ranger and managed to kill the player.
Resuming, got the point defender, point capture and eng win all at the same time.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
This. I want play my engi other classes are boring for me. Looks like many devs are altoholics.

Sorry I just had to fix that.
ANet should stop interfering with how players should play the game. If I want to play a Necro in PvP it should be MY choice not ANet’s.
Logged on one of my thiefs, joined a “track farming” hotjoin, capped one point by just standing on it, “lost” by being blue yet got the winner bonus and the daily (farm arena principle) 7 minutes after.
Rinced and repeated with one of my engies.
In 15 minutes, I got all 4 dailies with only 2 minutes of really active play and I could go back to normal PvP thereafter.
@ArmoredVehicle:
No one is interfering with you. You can still get the old rewards by simply logging. No one is forcing you to play a thief or engineer (for yesterday), you can perfectly ignore the new dailies and go your own way. Now if you want the new rewards, then you have to adapt it, but nobody is forcing you to go for them. Never forget they are meant as a bonus for people who agree to go out of their compfort zone.
And if you want to compare with the old system, it included 2 PvP dailies. Now it includes 4, 2 of which are not class specific. If you really insist on looking at changes with the worst point of view, here is what changed for you:
- before you had to perform 2 PvP non class specific dailies and 3 non PvP dailies to get 5 Ap
- now you have to perform 2 PvP non class specific dailies and 1 non PvP daily to get 10 AP.
I think the change does not need any comment. And never forget, nobody is forcing you to play as a class you don’t have/don’t want to play. You, and only you (and your greed) is forcing you to go for the class specific dailies because you want the bonus reward.
I don’t want to play any classes besides the one I am focused on currently. Is there any way to rework the sPvP achievements so players can focus on a single class without losing out on achievements?
No.
The whole point is to make you do things you may not normally do. You get your rewords anyhow, since they’re based on logging in.

I play every class on the game and currently rank 50 on the leaderboards.
Acknowledging your weaknesses and positioning is what makes you a good player, not how well you can solo people.

I’m higher on the leaderboards than you or was on my main account. Not that that has anything to do with anything.
Where did I imply soloing people was important?
I don’t want to play necro or guardian because I have played them before. If I wanted to play them I would play them. Anet is directly saying either play those classes or lose out on rewards. It’s a junk system for people who want to play and get better at one specific class.
If you are fine with your time being wasted that’s on you. I don’t like my time being wasted on a reward system that’s flawed when it comes to the most competitive part of the game.
they could change one of those to a win on x map instead. You would be bombarded with the same map, but it wouldnt be like you were playing a different class.

The rewards from dailies were replaced with log in rewards. Dailies do nothing but award achievement points and a small percent(2%) towards a reward track.
