You know you truly like a company when you love ’em and you hate them ’em at the same time. Love is madness. The one thing that entirely frustrates me in the balance of pvp is weapons. As one weapons stock is decreasing, another …well, is not increasing. The easiest way to spread the love is not just to adjust one weapon with nerfs, but also to increase the fun factor, playable nature and general direction of others so it presents an attractive alternative to the tried and trust go to sets.

The amount of times I have seen necro staff nerfed, but axe never get touched or hammer/longbow get nerfed but the obvious bugs in greatsword never get addressed and some weapons get nerfed so hard they get used again and others that have been nonfunctional to the point they were never widely used.

Players, come on..time to set the record straight. How can some weapons be changed for the better. Time for critical and constructive feedback. Nerfs every patch with no empowering to others to every single patch is only leading us back to gw1 where we should just have normalised health pools with preset armour ratings. Traits is one thing..but it’s time to adjust all those awkward or over nerfed weapons as a new source of change to the game. Discuss.

Thief d/d spec needs some love in pvp. Been years since i saw somebody using it in tpvp.

The main problem is that it is a bad hybrid set that does not synergize very well.

- deathblossom: very clunky, the evade is unreliable, the damage is low and cleansing the bleeds are easy.
Change it to a power skill with a reliable evade and maybe increase the ini cost by 1. Remove the bleeds or tone down the duration. The damage needs a big boost. ever been hit by the inquest d/d npcs in coe story? Thats what i call a death blossom.

- Dancing dagger: a very useless skill with low damage. Shortbow auto attack is superior and costs no ini. Either increase the damage back to its old value or give it a secondary effect like 20% chance to strip a boon. Another option would be a short 1s immob but we already have that on a different weapon.

- Cloak and dagger: unnerf the damage or make the skill faster.

Some traits need an overhaul too. 5% damage on dagger training could be increased to 7%.

Imo d/d should be a high risk high reward burst spec but atm it is by far inferior to all other thief specs except p/p.

Maybe its time for d/d and p/p CDIs.
