Dealing with engi in Skyhammer w/o stability?
Build for it. Engage them before they reach the point.

I think swapping out one of your shouts for some stability is a wise move in general, and particularly useful for Skyhammer.
The easiest solution is to simply avoid the side nodes if possible. Make fighting at mid your top priority and let your teammates assault the other nodes.
Most engis will use the magnetic shield move to pull you onto the glass. If you look closely you can see a series of white lines coming out from your character, even if the engi is stealthed. There is also a quick magnetic sound effect right before you get pulled if you listen closely and can react quickly.
Necro. No stability (unless you spec grandmaster trait and get 3 seconds in deathshroud.)= You have no chance against this build. Players stated right from the start skyhammer was a toxic map that allowed cheap mechanics to be utilized. Players hammered this home time and time again. The players then left. A-net seemed ok with this. So there is you’re answer. Don’t play pvp if u get skyhammer. Log out and load a game that encourages pvp in its pvp arena’s. It sounds like a harsh answer, but players were left no choice. It just got too tired too quickly seeing this “skill” being used over and over again. Your lucky you have a warrior. Necro, thief, other engi have extremely limited stability, if any at all.
Get passive stability. 20 points in Defense. Last Stand.

^ says necro thief engi are bad at skyhammer.
What’s next, elementalist FGS killing lupi slower than full cleric necro?
