Please tell ANet to let us queue from out of the mists. Nobody likes the new system and we still get the same amount of 4v5s. 4v5s never happened because people were in the middle of an activity and wanted to finish, it happened because of circumstance, or because a 12 year old decided he enjoys the misery of others. We still get the same number of 4v5s, let us actually do something fun instead of sitting and doing nothing.

Actually, I’m not very familiar with the role Forum Specialists have. If you distill a week’s worth of forum information into a report for ANet, that will probably really help them digest the pertinent information much better. Seems like a good idea to me.
Also, you probably shouldn’t set the precedent that you respond to “@Forum Specialist” threads, otherwise people will think that’s the only way you’ll listen to them. There’s a reason large communities often receive limited interaction from the developer (which I’m sure you’re aware (just pointing it out again)).

The main reason I responded was to clear up some of the confusion on what my job is within the pvp threads. As with all call out threads, I’ve requested that it be marked for closed as all players are able to do via the report function.

With the separate characters PvP daily, all 8 of my characters end up in the mists.
I then after waste time running all 8 to where I want them in Tyria until of course yet again they all end up in the mists. Rinse, repeat…
The old system was better where you could play sPvP but your character would still be where you placed them in the world of Tyria when you next log in..
Bump because its the most important issue in the game. And making the hotm more interesting is NOT A SOLUTION. It will still suck.
Their testing team know NOTHING about pvp if they let this get through design because its such a huge issue it makes all the rest of the patch (which actually killed pvp lol) trash.

+5 here. Was just talking to guild mates last night while waiting for queues to pop. It would be much more enjoyable to be able to utilize that time doing other activities. Some of us are not big fans of map completion but it would be much more enjoyable if we could do that or even crafting while waiting for queues. 16 mins out of an hour adds up. Good hunting!
I just want to say that there was a CSGO player who was in an ESEA queue for over 70 minutes and still had thousands of people watching! I don’t think this is as huge a deal as you all make it out to be! Shure it would be nice, but to say that this is the biggest problem in PvP is silly!
