Your reward track is mostly affected by winning or losing.
The entire match I can do really well defending a point. But it doesn’t give anything for protecting it. So in the end you get like a score of 25. Can you please make it so that defending a point over time rewards with points also? It’s a good way to benefit the total score but doesn’t do anything for yourself.
Good communication is key but you typically dont want to sit on a point unless as a team your only playing the 2 points.
Eh what about NO?
A: the game is played for the win and not for the score!

There is a reward for it. It’s called Objective Defender. You get it when you get a kill on a point you control. If you are just camping a point noone is attacking you are hurting your team more than helping it.
It would be set up like a “repel the invaders” type thing. It would only show up if you’ve been fighting on a point for 20 seconds and if the person runs off after a certain time that has passed you get some personal points. You can spend an entire match fighting players on a point and never getting any personal points. It isn’t just about camping.
