The healing skill on warrior, is it working as intended? I dont seem to heal off of condi dmg and i feel like i do off of the revs infuse the light heal skill. I could be mistaken.

Both says “Incoming strikes”.
So either buff Defiance Stance and update tool tip or nerf Infuse Light.
But are you 100% sure it doesn’t work on Warrior?

Defiant Stance doesn’t heal off of conditions, but will prevent them from being applied.
Infuse Light heals off of all damage you take. Plus they have another heal they can use right after if they wanted to…Kind of booty if you ask me. They should both go on CD.

Im wondering if people who use rev more then i could add to the glint heal skill.

As for defiance stance it just says incoming strikes so yes i guess it could be just strikes but i tried to combo it. So im at a mid fight vs a Reaper and ele and i used both stances and when beserker stance ended i popped the heal. I was at 11k health and they applied 7 stacks of burns and 9 stacks of psn and 15 stacks of chill and i healed to 13k and i get 1853 heal on initial heal. So i might of gained a little over 500 over the 3 1/2 sec they unloaded on me.

If this is the same as the rev skill im fine but it seriously feels different.

had to correct something you said and that is it doesnt stop you from getting conditions. You just dont lose health when its on because i tried it again except it was a team fight and i had a million condi on me and i went from 15k health to dead in 1 sec the 2nd the 3 3/4 sec was over.

If you already have condis on you it’s not gonna stop them.

Yes i used zerker stance and before it ended i used the heal skill and I still got tagged with a ton of condi though they did no damage for the 2 sec outside the zerker stance.

Why does it still have a casting time? They want the warrior to be really well kittened when they get kittened

Lol its shocking really. I mean im ok with the majority of the new specs being stronger then the old but at least update the skills that are the same for each class. I mean alot of the classes have the same certain type of skills yet they work differently.

Im simply just looking for skills that say the same thing work the same way instead of it being stronger for 1 class or spec.

So wait wait wait let me get this straight, the rev dragon stance is the warriors healing signet and defiant stance with a upgrade……… you know what im ok with this but can simply fix warriors defiant stance, mending and shout heal. Dont nerf the revanent just fix warriors heal skills.

Anet nicknamenick already put down how to fix 1 heal skill and a simple one to defiant stance. Come on anet lets get it together here

Aha. That’s what you get for not reading the fine print when you signed the contract! Too bad!

Don’t forget that defiant stance has a cast time and can’t be used while stunned/cc’d unlike the Rev skill which is simply superior in every way.

Oh cmon.

Hammer Shock – 247 damage, 12 sec cd, Cripple. 600 range.
Coalescence of Ruin 489/684/880 damage, 2 sec cd, 1200 range.

Facet of Light also gives regen when the first proc is used but not the second. #AnetBalancing

If Defiant Stance doesn’t convert incoming condition damage to healing, then that’s something new. I used to play around with an all-stance build for hotjoin dailies, and it definitely healed incoming condition damage back then.

Unless they stealth nerfed Defiant Stance it should work on conditions. I know before I used to pop it when I got smacked with 7 stacks of burn and I’d heal to full. Also to be honest I’d be up for Defiant stance getting a bigger base heal, in a sense it’s be like a esque Shelter skill. Infused light I think should of had a cast time instead of being instant as well considering the additional effect that is the Facet heal gets with a pulsing regen boon when you don’t use infused light.

you are correct it is. It came from me not understanding what was happening. WHen you scroll over the revanent heal skill and not click on it once for the regen and 2nd ability.

It says the exact same thing as the warrior defiant skill yet click the regen part and then it has something different said the 2nd time which is why i referred to at as fine print. Its those little things make me question this expansion.

Seriously guild halls has nothing to do with the areas. For instance doing WvW does not help you get WvW guild hall stuff done. Doing PvP does not get your Guild hall stuff done. No new Emotes (looking for alot of GW1 emotes) no new PvP maps. The new PvE area is awesome but i dont spend hours in this game everyday and when i do i mostly WvW and PvP and now i get play the new specs except in PvP which feels a little cheap.

Im crying till the cows come home until GW2 fixes this or i move on to another game which is probably where alot of other people are too if they paid $100 for a expansion that has some of the greatest ideas but the poorest connectivity between activities maybe ever.
