Can Anet look into removing or “fixing” these kitten signets.
its like fighting a team 2-3x over with all the spam rez’s/double full heals. ontop of having the double rez from mesmer/ele due to bugs.
Not only that, but with ele rez you + ally become invul for 5 seconds when you rez, and you can do it again.. so practically invul for 10 seconds + ele invul for 15 seconds.. nothing game breaking yet?

And before the trolls come up with comments like “interrupt them?”
You don’t need LOS to rez
half of them are instant cast

Most casual players wont understand the frustration of this, top end paid teams will understand…

I think they should be made into versions like the Engi one which is strong but can be countered and have the cds adjusted down appropriately and maybe add other secondary effects.

Ah , but those things are incorrect. You see the res signets and abilities are ground targeted aka needing LOS. As for the instant casting they all take a long time to cast with the exception of toolbelt elixer R from the enginneer but that doesn’t insta-res either.

Really, if a team decides to take a res signet how is it different from just taking utility that secures revives like “fear me”. That skill can be used to prevent a stomp (secure a res) while still having a use outside of that while the res skills that aren’t signets don’t even have a passive effect to justify using it outside of reviving.

Some of the rezz signets are good, some of them are pretty poor though.

Ele has a very nice versatile one with different options for each attunment.
-The invulnerability on the Ele when using it somehow and the invulnerability on the targets rezzed after is weird though, if it’s not a bug or exploit then it’s a serious oversight. Ele signets seem to cast quicker than the tooltip too.

Engineer’s can be great as it will rezz before a stomp and can be used to self rezz, but suffers against AoE dmg on the target.

Guardian signet has a long cast time, the longest recast at 240seconds! and a terrible Passive (Healing Power). (1 ally)

Necro is pretty standard, but almost twice as fast to cast as a Guardian and recharges a minute quicker. (3 allies)

Rangers and Warriors are tied to Elite skills, both can be used very effectively.

Mesmers Illusion of life is very powerful as it gives everyone 15s to burn everything and try to kill someone, if they do they rally, if they don’t they just go downed again.

Thief of course has no instant revive but can place down Shadow Refuge to allow the whole team to safely rezz someone, or stomp an enemy etc.

Perhaps the rezz mechanics would be better placed on Elite skills for those with things like Signets (Guardian, Necro, Mesmer).
Elementalist would be fine without the invulerability associated for them and their allies during the whole debacle.

Engineer is a special mechanic that works well already.
Thief has an alternate mechanic with pros and cons.

insane cast times? and yes. sure, easily interupted when you dont even see them engage a fight from 1.2k meters away. sureeeeeeeeeeee

and ele can mist form rez with a 0.5 second induction, then repeat the rez because apparently they dont share the same cooldown, nice exploits.

the rez signets aint a problem in random games vs basic teams, but when its full bunker teams + they use the rez signets, its getting kinda stupid… most people prefer the kitten svarnia rune bug meta, than this current one

what world u live in ?
spvp world i believe.
in high lvl tpvp its a game breaking having a mes/ele/necro standing for example in foefire losing teamfight and just gettin 4 oppurtunities to win it again so please tell me how its possible to interrupt necro which is a fast cast or a smart ele that can cast it in mistform and it takes him exactly 1.5sec to do so cuz for some reason the timer is lower in mistform?
or a mesmer that use illusion of life and when the target actually die again he go into down state instead of dying just like warrior vengeance.
people ignoring a real problem here this is worse then the svanir meta.
and ofc lets not forget some high lvl players abuse the double illusion of life ress bug so its even worse.

but just fix signet ress and everything will be fine.

“it 1 shots everybody 24/7”

I like the impact res skills have on the game, it’s much better than the clump up and press F revive meta. They’re some of the few support skills in the game that actually feel clutch and intentional when you use them, rather than happening accidentally as part of your dps rotation. They also force teams to react to the enemy, adapt their play based on available reses, and encourage communication to avoid overlapping revives, or missing because of a downed state teleport/mistform. It’s also one of a very small number of skills that actually encourage you to use CC situationally on an enemy other than your DPS target or the players baltantly standing there trying stomp/revive. There’s not enough of that in GW2 as is.

Some of them just need some tweaks. Like they all need more obvious casting animations, especially the necro signet, so it’s more apparent when you need to interrupt, and mesmer res needs a cast time or the revived player needs to go strait to defeated after the revive or something. The ele and warrior revives are mostly fine I think.

i got 160 qp´s, so i know what i am talking about. I did not say they oneshot 24/7, but they do every 45 seconds and that is stupid.

Agree just lovely downing a guard just to have someone rez sig him… GG

A good guard will take a little time to down when you finally down him support should have just showed up however you still have the edge if they send more people your roamer will cap undefended points…… Rez sig breaks the game because that guard will just pop back up.

Lets be real tho, downstates breaks the game.

he played with many top teams so low end pvp exprience is wrong.
and ur qp says nothing if u are on eu say who u are and wht team u play for
if u are from na dont bother cuz we all know the competition level there.

signet need nerf im a thief myself and not playing backstab
i agree with that backstab 1shot some ppl but if u actually think thats the reason u shouldnt remove signets sry to say but please dont play tpvp u are wasting your time.

Necro signet and mesmer skill need a nerf, the first one have low cast (while move) and can res 2-3 teammates easily and the second has almost no casting time and 15s is a lot if we are talking about a teamfight.

ress signets and abilities allowing to go from downed back to live are pretty much righ now the metagame – partly due to individual ressurection timer.

I see it out of ballance due to
- not available to all classess
- different cast time and differend side effect
- some are elites some utilities

in fact it is hardly counterable as mostly they have hudge range therefore incoming ress from roamer class is hardly interuptable.

well.. i can adapt to this.. but in game where downed state is as that important, i would rather dont have any of these available – also engi is hard to balance as they offten combine it with traits avoiding long CD
