You can’t sell the Unidentified Dyes you get from sPVP chests/mystic forge. Can only hope for the magic roulette.

How did it go? Not good I’m guessing. Guild Wars 2 doesn’t like PvP Players…….. Which is extremely ironic considering the fact that PvP’ers are the reason Guild Wars 1 was a successful game. Without us there never would have been a Guild Wars 2.

Since Anet is so into PvE these days maybe they should have just stayed with Blizzard and Activision and continued their work on WoW. It’s a shame they forgot where they came from.

i sold almost all of the dyes and got myself 5g..

I stopped crafting dyes after spending boring hours of crafting them and got close to nothing in return. Would have been better if i step outside of hotm and start grinding some dungeons. But no one wants to carry me through em fractals T.T

I charge a small fee (~30g/hour) for pvp lessons. PvE players have plenty of gold and are willing to spend it on stuff like this.

That’s actually a really good idea.
Most of it is telling the guy one of the 5~ easy overpowered specs… the rest is just running a support/rez setup and WAM he thinks you’re he’s a decent PvP’er.

Lol. I’m not even crafting at the moment but I need to craft soon. I’ll have 250 of that dust soon and I don’t I also play PvE. Need every free slot and once it gets more than 250 and I can’t store more in the collection I’ll start to craft.

That tournament chest are giving too much stuff. Should be a recipe to throw chests directly into the mystic forge.

But I’m alway using the unidentified dyes(I get some from chests without crafting). Playing 5 chars and also playing them in PvE I just use the dyes if it is something cheap(until now I only got cheap stuff) and I haven’t unlocked. There’s still a lot of stuff to unlock un my main and if not then on my 2nd char. Never needed to move them to char 3, 4, 5.

Not sure that this is entirely related to the topic… Looks interesting though.

I’m not interested in it, personally, but I must ask: do you do profession-specific lessons, perhaps as a guild? Or is it just a “one size fits all” kind of deal?

Also… Maybe I’m just really poor, but 30g seems like a lot to me. :/

In all seriousness, I only Spvp in GW2 and I’ve never had more than 3g. There’s no way I’ll spend any on cosmetics from the shop, because most are unusable in the Mists and I simply can afford them…

It would be nice if you could earn gold in sPvp from anything besides RNG dye drops, I’d like to buy more character slots from my time in tournaments.

That’s actually pretty brilliant. Buy a character slot with Glory! I did PvE and have 9 slots I bought with gems I traded from gold. My PvE main Mesmer and 8 Female Humans. 1 for every class

ive gotten white on my necro and midnight fire on my mesmer just from chests

What do you need gold for in sPvP? The only thing I got was the plush back thing… that’s it!

Just went threw about 70 PvP dyes and made only 4~ gold worth of stuff :’(
(nothing over 98~ silver and only two of those…)

I still need another 8~ gold to get that really cool krytan medium armor, finally get myself out of this trenchout hell ><

Only bad part is that it’ll take at least another month~ to get that many PvP crafting mats again… and allot of hope that I get more than 4 gold that time.

The problem with relying on dyes for cash that is I get tired of spamming the forge. I wish we could just ‘save’ a recipe and make it without having to manually place the parts in the forge!

I never seem to get good dyes from the pvp ones either. All my rare dyes came from pve ones…
