Anyone notice how, with the release of this PvP season, they removed the ability to examine people on the scoreboard pre-game and asess (have to typo this intentionally to not be filtered) whether or not you were facing a premade/partial team (‘Join Party’ denotes this fact), a relatively useful thing to know for both the purposes of understanding how they’ll coordinate/how the system is unfair if you are all pugs versing their premade, etc etc?

It really irks me to see this. This happened only recently after previously being accessible, and I can see little to no reason to this other than to hide it from players, especially after the simmering backlash they received in Season 1 over the problems with the queuing system, and with pugs vs premades. More information is almost always a good thing, so why would it be taken away? By contrast, the earlier-occuring removal of seeing people’s character level in pvp WAS a good change, because of the harassment they’d incur; not the case here.

I noticed it, but I think that was a great choice.

Way too many players either gave up or started to flame once they thought they were playing against a premade before the match even started. Most of the time, they were facing 2+2+1 (or 3+2) which was exactly the same as on their side -.-

That’s a fair enough point. I still think, irrespective of that, the decision was done to curtail player backlash, especially from volatile (and sometimes rightfully upset) players, more than anything else.
