And here’s why. Atm there’s a shortage of players in diamond, q times can go over an hour. As a result, to progress to legendary, people are forced to q with ambers to lower the mmr/div and get faster queues. Pugs being farmed by this dont like it either. So it’s a lose lose situation.

This can be easily fixed by removing the diamond tier all together, that is after ruby -> legendary. That way, it is also possible to solo q, albeit being very difficult, to legendary. There will be no need to manipulate matches. Moreover, most players in this game are not able to hit ruby, not to mention diamond. Thats why i think its a good idea.

They should fix their mmr system to make it so queue times are less for them, just tone down how much mmr you get for being in x rank until enough people are in it.

But please accept that if you play 80 hours a week, that you will be alone for approximatively 3 weeks before having someone to play with.

I did unranked matches yesterday to try some builds to counter condi rev. It was fun, relaxing… queue time fast. Yeah I played versus Chaith, but you know MMR give you decent matches even in unranked.

Since you are on top of the ranked queue, why doing more? Take your time bro, at Christmas you will be Legendary anyway… showing that you have more time for a game than for your life.

Hardly. Ive played only approximately 200 matches, amounting to about 3000 minutes play time since league started? That’s about 50 hours over 11 days.

No, the people in diamond should chill the kitten down for a week and play in unranked while they wait for their divisions population to increase, this is a self inflicted problem. We arnt even 1/3 of the way through the season and people have already rushed their way to the last divisions (possibly exploiting) and now complain there is no one to play with.

Instead of waiting it out they are going and making the problem worse in the long run just to get instant gratification by throwing off the balance of the division matchmaking by queing with lower ranked people which makes it harder for people to actually legitimately climb the divisions to eventually populate diamond league

No, I do not want that facilitate the game and the way the league system works

Some people will reach Legendary division before the end of the year. The length of the progression is not the problem in itself. Whether or not it is a grind is another matter entirely.
