I played 3 games today so far in ranked and the people on both teams are complete idiots.

What happened?

note: i mean like I haven’t seen this many noobs in ranked arena since my first games after the last MMR reset.

What’s your rank? You’re now paired with players that have the same exp/rank as you. If you’re getting more noob players, it just means you have to grind up your rank and leaderboard ranking before you see more experienced/ranked players.

im rank 80. was like 63 or so on LB when it closed. almost everyone in all my matches was at least decent if not good if not really good. that was yesterday though.

does the gw2score.com updates slower than the official one on the gw2 forums?

I’m going to take a guess that a lot of players are going to take a break after the test season. So matchmaking might not have a lot of players in the lot to pick from right now.

It could just be, they have a few bugs with the matchmaking system after tweaking it for the last patch. I haven’t had the chance to sPvP since patch.

this seems like its probably the truth. people taking breaks.

I personally am taking a break as well, until I finish all grind that Anet gave us in PvE with this patch. So yeah could be that. Many decent+ PvP players go to PvP when there is nothing to do in PvE, myself included.

also, new living story episode, so many players are probably still checking that out.

Actually, I believe there has been a LB reset. But can’t be sure about that.

Nope, the leaderboard only resets at the start of a new season, not at the end of each season.
