I can be wrong about this, I can’t put my finger on it but I seem to die a lot faster then I used to before the patch. Either I have been playing horrible on my ele the past 2 days or they buffed something els in the game.

I’ve checked the patch notes already and I can’t find anything suspicious.

Wooow. If that’s accurate, you were getting hit for 630 per torment stack. That’s not possible.

/grabs calculator, calculates….. numbers compute….. but brain refuses to believe Anet would do such a move, but then again…

That would actually explain why I have been dying a lot faster lately vs necro and mesmers ……

Well, with a Rabid Amulet and Undead Runes, with max traits for toughness and condition damage, you can hit 1500 condition damage. That should be 88.25 damage per stack per second of Torment without moving, which is 176.5 while moving.

4 stacks of torment while moving will do more than 632 damage per second with this (706), which would still have to hit around 19 times.

Illusionary Counter and Impale both seem to be capable of doing this.

It doesn’t seem broken, but I’ll keep my eye out when playing today to see if I see anything suspicious.

Looks like OP was fighting a mes. When set up in a condi build I can usually get 800 HP/s torments with Illusionary Counter. But you’d have to leave it up for a long time to take that kind of damage.
