Is there a reason why there isnt a “Dire” amulet? Stats: Toughness,Vitality,Condition Damage

Not even close. This isn’t a discussion, this is you being wrong and needing to seriously consider your level of intelligence.

Sry I know it’s tough in text but that was meant to be sarcastic. They did give us op dhuumfire for a while…. I can dream.

But they have soldiers…. thats power, dire is like soldiers for condi users. No perplexity runes though.

Think of it this way;

Soldier’s – PTV gives a bunkery power build, but power damage requires precision and ferocity to get to high levels of DPS. That way, no bunker can have high critical chance and damage

Dire – CdTV gives a bunkery condi build, but almost all the damage from a condi class with a dire amulet is from the condition damage stat. The condi damage of a dire amulet condi class is the same as a rabid amulet condi class. As a result the only reason to take anything other than dire would be to proc things on crits i.e. incendiary powder (though sigil of intelligence would be a better option for that).

They don’t put dire in because they don’t want builds with high damage and high tankiness. And yet warrior/ele/thief exists. All of which have very high sustain and really high damage. The “balance” in this game is bad for pvp. Because the best builds are tanky and therefore more forgiving. Thus being easy to play.
