Dishonor System: Punished for Not Accepting
When I missed a queue, it was a 3-minute timeout. If you are getting longer time outs, it is because you are a frequent offender. In other words, the system is working as intended.
Another great implemented system, punish a player for an action PRIOR TO EVEN PLAYING THE GAME..
Ignoring queue pops negatively impacts the other 9 players who would have been a part of your match.

Jeez, how can you defend this when every single other matchmaking system in all other games are smart enough to find replacements for missing players, there’s no excuse for incompetent development.
Er, I got a 3 minute punishment for not clicking accept once. Can you not wait 3 minutes?

When you start punishing the consumer for your own shoddy development, it’ll never end well.
If you enter the queue be ready to accept simple as that.
Why should 9 others have to hang around because of your laziness? Or because you have been distracted.
No I cannot wait 3 minutes for you. When I enter a queue I have ensured:
I had my kitten break
Got my beer filled
I am ready and waiting
Trouble with a ton of you halfwits is your attention span is less than a millisecond.

Because of this. You know sometimes people suddenly have to take a poop or something ( I missed a pop after 15min queue lately this way).
Trouble with a ton of you egomaniacs is that your mind is so closed you fail to see painfully obvious logical scenarios.
OP don’t expect any sympathy here we have been begging for a dishonor system for so long. This has been one of the most highly anticipated aspects of PVP. I personally do not think it is severe enough. I propose a system that once the dishonor occurs you are strapped to a pole in the center of the siege equipment area in your birthday suit and Booms your name all over the instance of your disgraceful behavior! Then the first person to take you out with siege equipment gets a half PIP credit. This would give us something to do while we wait on our pops because of people like you…….. Joking of course……. Well maybe……,

Which games are you talking about? Have you read the MMR algorithm? How would you find a “missing player”? Take someone which just so happens to be in queue with exactly the same profession, the same MMR, the same league? A pretty rare bird if you ask me. And things get even more complicated is said player is queuing in a party.
A 3-minute time-out seems like a reasonable punishment for someone who makes nine other players waste 7-10 minutes in queue.

Uh most queue systems that handle solo’s (you can add compare with pve dungeon systems here) are able to fill slots when someone doesn’t click accept..
Also, this system obviously has no problem doubling/tripling professions OR reaching outside of rank to fill spots..

Yes, and these games are, in general, less fun. That’s why it’s preferable that the system tries to make a new, fairer game from scrap rather than taking a random solo queuer with a different MMR and a different profession than intended, and have a less balanced match.
