I received the dishonorable debuff because the PVP maps took so long to load that I was d/c’d for inactivity.. that’s not appropriate at all.

I’m fairly insulted tbh.

If you have difficulty joining a map, you are encouraged to wait until the issue is ameliorated before attempting to engage in PvP play. That way, you will not be subject to any Dishonorable debuffs.

You are welcome to share your feedback about PvP in the PvP sub-forums, however, as this would not be an Account Issue.

Happened to me too some time ago – if I had to guess, I’d say you have an old rig like I did.
You can get a new rig or count the d/c kicks you get, as you will only receive a ban after your absence in a row – for whatever reason. To my knowledge, each d/c count resets after 24 hours.
I understand your point of view, but then again this meant that three times there was an infamous 4vs5 ongoing due to you (or anybody in your situation for that matter).
So something needs to be done and this seems to be the only viable solution.
Please keep in mind that I don’t claim it to be a good solution.

No matter what the reason you still cause a 4v5 and ruin the match for 9 other people. You get 3 chances before the debuff.

Players like to heap abuse on the afker but the reality is it is Anet’s terrible queue system at fault 9 times out of 10 for dishonorable debuffs which are not such a problem in any other game with a decent queuing system.

The system needs to not take players into matches without a confirmation. If it doesn’t receive initial confirmation it needs to draw in a new player from the outside queue. I’d go so far as to say it should draw in a new player if you have a dc midmatch to preserve the integrity of 5v5 …at least in soloQ.
