Its probably to combat leavers, not to sound like a kitten but dont leave a match in progress and you will be fine.

I never said I thought the system was perfect bro, but now that you know your getting dishonor for leaving I would avoid doing so in the future.

Considering that changing characters after the match has started should be impossible, I have no sympathy for you.
