Today i got my first dishonored, (just a build up of miss queuing or DCs) ANet reduced the amount of games afk, DCed or whatever happened to deserve Dishonored to 3 times, (from 5) aswell dishonored is a freaking 24+hr ban from ALL PvP. Referring back to PvP Guild Wars 1, Dishonored took 5min to 10min at most. But 24 hrs really!?

Discuss, and maybe some dev can provide his insight on this.

If you can’t commit 10 minutes of your life to making sure you don’t cause a 4v5, then you shouldn’t queue.

24 hours isn’t the end of the world anyways.

The real problem is the numerous reports of people getting 1x d/c then being banned for the full 72hrs or w/e it is.

Dishonoured should be harsher, you should not be a liability to the team if u are having connection problems in the game. Don’t queue at all if you know you might dc mid game.9 other player should not suffer due to 1 player.

Just posted in another thread, I was on a team that lost a match we were winning around 380-240 because one of our players apparently had a hissy fit over being killed and quit.

24 hours is fine for a first offense. Add 24 more hours for each subsequent one until they get the message or go do something else.

Yet another one of these threads? Please. It’s your own fault. Don’t do it next time. You’re the one who decided to queue. You didn’t have to.

If you continually dc then you’re a liability for everyone you play with and to be honest you shouldn’t be playing online games with others. As for simply missing queues, that’s 100% your own fault. GW2 has a nasty problem with leavers, this is the solution. Don’t PvP if you’re just going to afk after you queue, and don’t PvP if you’re having issues with your connection.

Life is still > games, and sometimes unexpected things happen that you have to deal with. As well as you never know what’s gonna happen, a windows update, power going off, internet signal dropping.. stuff that is out the player’s control happens and boom, you’re suddenly dishonorable….

Just add a ready button before a match is spawned. Then increase dishonor to 2 weeks.

But without such a basic feature as a ready button no dishonor should be in place.

Why play solo queue if you know your connection isn’t stable? You have time if you d/c to get back in if you d/c and can’t get back in that’s your own fault

last night i saw someone with the dishonored batch. it showed off the time remaining time and it was in hotjoin, so not ban from all pvp

would it be me than this dishonourable would be 24h ban and than you have to play your next matches for 24hours with other leavers and afkers (but not 24h livetime – 24h playtime in matches)

This is true; you can still hotjoin.

having to hotjoin, the worst part about dishonorable >.< oh good, not again! PLZZZ
