Dishonour
Oh the horrors of not finding something to do for 30 minutes.
I recommend watching cat videos on youtube. Beware though – those 30 minutes might become the rest of your life.
I’m a casual player with limited time, I needed to go to the bathroom tonight as I was queued for over 6 min without a pop, so I thought I’d run the gauntlet and take a slash, come back and banned for 30 mins, logged out.
Yes well if you have that limited time you should have learned to reduce risk by going to the bathroom 6 minutes earlier, before you started queueing the next match. Worst case scenario, your play time that evening would have lasted 1 minute longer.
The only excuse I guess is if you have a maximum time of 6 minutes between having to run to the bathroom, in which case I recommend keeping a bottle nearby because sPvP is going to be hard.
I’ve missed around 1 game queue per day over the last 4 days due to RL reasons.
Tonight I missed 1 game, and I’ve got a dishonour buff of 30 mins.
Do you honestly think someone will stick around waiting for 30 minutes just to be able to queue again? I don’t want to play any other game mode as they don’t appeal to me.
Do you guys think this is a fair scenario? Should 1 match a day really be a 10 min stacking penalty?
that’s cute, I got a 45 minuet one because ANets logging servers hate me after patch day, and kick me out at random for a few hours/24 hours after the patch before everything returns to normal.

I had one night an windows update scheduele and my system rebooted and updated while i was in a pvp match. Of course it took way to long and i got dishonored. The dishonored time was about 7 minutes. kitten happens. Stupidity from my side anyway told my team in the match before i need to restart for updates and forgot it.
I was fine with the time, my team mates even won the match without me. So we just waited the time and queued up together again.
What was way more annoying: around 2 hours later i missed a qpop because i was on toilet for 30 seconds. And was dishonored for 30 miniutes after. Are you serious? additional 20minutes for missing a queue pop?

ANet will tell you that you must have missed Queues, or DC’ed quite a few times for that to happen. System is working as intended. AKA you are telling lie’s.

Every day and every time you miss to accept queue, afk or DC you waste the time from other players and if game started you will ever ruin a full match for some players. IMO dishonor works as intended, every time queue and someone doesn’t accept I get angry but at the same time I feel happy that that jerk who didn’t accept got dishonor.
If you need to go and do irl stuff while in queue you just leave queue .
