Guild Wars 2

I’ve put around 1,900 hours into Gw2 and half of that into PvP and I PvP frequently. Recently I’ve been playing rev and enjoy it alot but when I lose a match my team will blame the rev like myself. After games I’ll politelty say GG and people will respond negatively to that. I don’t argue with anyone and am as positive as i can be with my team. I understand I can do better but I’m getting depressed over pvp right now and some of the people in it. Especially with leagues that just came out where people are getting really upset at losing a match. The community is getting really salty as of late and I want to know if I should just feel bad for trying to get better or by playing the game.

Look deep into your soul and you shall find your answer.

Just play you favorite class and tell the others to kitten off. If you feel too cheesy play power revenant, hit old Timotheus up and I’ll clear your conditions. If you find amazing people to play with in this game, the horrible balance and players gets alot better.

(delete DH and create the god of all bunker guards to banish these other so called bunkers from these lands.)

simply put, engage in conversation like you play GW2, mindlessly and without consideration for others.

Should you feel bad? Here’s why people are getting salty:
The top five builds are top five because of their low skill/high usability.

As a Rev, you are using a low-skill class (not the most low skill, but certainly faceroll mode compared to most others). That doesn’t mean you are low-skilled, necessarily, but it’s like you’re playing one of the builds with training wheels on it (assuming you’re playing meta).

Many people are choosing to play builds with no training wheels, and using racing tires. Higher-skill.

Now despite this, your build/class/bike is not only competitive, but superior to to their bike, and can easily outrace it, despite having training wheels on it.

If that makes you feel guilty, there’s your answer.
If it doesn’t make you feel guilty, there’s your answer.

Just carry a stack of http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Packet_of_Salt and mail one to anybody that gets uppity.

I’ll never understand how people even care about what kids rant about in games.
They are in every part of the game not just PvP.
Look at the HoT maps when people have to CC a boss but can’t manage to do so.
Then look at the map chat lol.
Put them on ignore and enjoy whatever you are doing in the game.

Don’t feel bad.
The people who specifically call you out are probably just frustrated by losses and don’t mean anything personal with their complaining.
5-10 minutes later they won’t remember your character name and you shouldn’t remember theirs either.
Take it easy and don’t let them get you down.

Let’s me explain for you about the current pvp meta
IMO, there are 2 classes that responsible for all of these salt, it’s revenant and bunker mesmer.
As a veteran pvp player, Revenant requires low-skilled, there is alot of room for mistakes, and there isn’t any real counter play. For bunker mesmer, they have invul, blocks, evade, dodge… they are basically untouchable and once again no counter play. I guess people just get frustrated they couldn’t do anything, just bad design overall. Anet isn’t doing any hot fix and people are raging about this issue. That’s why salt are flying everywhere…. Just ignore them
