Do hotjoin wins increase rank?
sPvP doesn’t have anything to do with your rating/rank. When you say rank I’m assuming you are talking about your rank on the leaderboard.

You are using two different terms here. The literal meaning of rank in GW2 means your PVP level. Which basically just affects your achievements and your PVP animal flag. You can earn rank points in both hotjoins and tournament play. Rating is a hidden value only for tournament pvp (where you queue up aka not hot joins). Doing hotjoins does not affect your rating.

Rating is only from tournaments.
Rank can be earned in both hotjoin and tournaments.
