For instance, say I’ve just won 5 matches and lost 1 in the past hour, and supposedly the LB has updated.

Most of those matches I exited early by clicking the door with the arrow right above the minimap in the lower right, but I’m not seeing my ranked stats update. I’m not in any competitive position right now, but seeing an accurate representation of my stats however far down on the LB I am would be cool.

Are there any quirks to the system I don’t know about? I won one match after the LB updated at 3:35am PST, but there’s 5 others that are uncounted.

If you leave before scoreboard pops you dont get any credit for playing that match.

I left after scoreboards popped up every time, it just didn’t update until the next hourly refresh for LBs. For some reason it needed to go through two cycles.
