Do time zones affect match making?
NA and EU are different Datacenters. If you are on an EU Server you only get matched up with EU Players and vice versa.
Due to location reasons I’ve come to accept that my online experience will always be a bit behind. Ping being the main reason. But something that I’m not quite sure of is if pvp matchmaking is also affected.
I’m going to assume that the majority of players are in the Americas and would have a wildly different sleeping pattern. So when I log in and try to find a match am I doing so with a much smaller pool of players increasing my chance of being in an uneven game?
I played a couple of games today and none could be considered close games, with one side completely dominating the other. Is this the fault of the matchmaking system or is it the system doing its best with the resources it has available?
