OFC they are wrong from Day 1 Merry, and they don’t listen! Am only stuck with grinding in a zergfest now, which is really boring now.

you should have tried DAOC in its glory days buddy , it was as good as GW1 at release.

Oh and btw the few times I tried to be constructive, I’ve got no answers or my post were deleted because Anet can’t handle the deep truth.

i played daoc…. had a thidranki twink infiltrator that used a level 50 trident mainhand and one shot people on a daily basis with perforate artery. gg to camping hibs all day.

yes tough, by grinding to 50 in a game that had basically no quests, and then owning people in a mid level battleground with a twink. the point of a twink is that you have an unfair advantage over nontwinks. the fact that my inf was 2L4 and had access to high level gear (although scaled to my level) and they were all less than that didn’t help them either.
on topic, stop being such a doomsayer about a game that has a ton of potential. honestly, i think the sooner anet stops YOU from posting, the better. everything you’ve posted recently has been ‘gw2 is doomed to fail’ related….

So what are we getting to get on Nov 15th 2012
Lets see:
1- /rank (cool, great) but still..not enuff.
2- Ladder (Where playing the same boring 3 maps for ladder no thanks)
3- G vs G (Yes great) but on which maps, teh same boring maps! (Please delete raid on the capricon, PLEASE!)
4- Where is Guild Hall? Why cant we join pvp games from there?
5- World Announcement (where which games)
6- nerfs/buffs -zzzzzzz
bottom line is this: There must be something really NEW NEW or the same GW1 PVP dynamics, or TSHTF/rage quit

They are not implementing any of it except for /rank maybe and tourney tickets costing 1.
MAN! its simple, anything other than Halls which brings team play is destined to FAIL! It’s that simple ….
An i wish they implement any of the things that i wrote above

I imagine they’re just going to offer some new tournament feature and maybe increase the recharge on a couple skills. I imagine almost all of the patch will be dedicated to PvE content, as that’s what drives their cash shop sales.
Couldnt agree more with Bloodbird.
Finally bring back the Hall of Heroes and /fame emotes. The emotes are in the game already, but only on stupid 30 min finishers. Where is the problem with putting them on an emote with a cooldown so its not beeing spammed too much.
Heroes Ascent might not work like in GW1 anymore, but i think some gamemodes like relic run could be fun with the new battle system GW2 features. You guys might even keep the capture points stuff you did on Forgotten Shrines. Heck, I’d even take killcount if I had to.
Just give the people who actually want to play PvP and not PvDoor something. 4 (well actually 3) maps and 1 gamemode arent enough at all. We need the Hall of Heroes, we need a world announcement for ppl who win there, we need /fame, we need GvG, a guild ladder and guild halls. Or at least something like that. If you really wanna go into Esports with this game you need something to create competition first.
But I dont expect we will get anything like that on Nov 15.
What we will get is:
- A new PvE Area (well thats fine, I’m kinda fed up with Orr)
- New overpriced recipies for the most annoying thing in the game: The Mystic Forge
- More PvE Stuff ppl need to grind for
- One new PvP mode (if you guys are really going to bring this Reapers Rumble thing you made for Halloween just scratch it. Seriously, just dont do it, even Raid on the Capricorn is more fun than that.)
Just my thoughts on this.
they will start doing something probably when the mist pop will be < 10 ppl per zone, shouldn’t be long tho.
