This is a pretty short thread and straight forward, so do we?
Personally i have plenty of low lvl characters when it comes to PvE but it doesn’t mean i don’t play them in pvp where i`ve got nice looking gear for them. So yeah i would enjoy having the option of switching between pve or pvp armor.
And i do realise that it`s a very minor visual tweak and there are other more important things, but still…..

I would love to see this feature as well. Simple solution: if you log out in the Mists, your PvP armor should show up in the character select. You log out in PvE, you see your PvE armor.

My character looks the same in both pve and pvp except the weapons.

Yes I do, hope arenanet implements the feature that you see your PvP gear during logg in screen if you are in the mists.

I would definitely love this feature. I PvE on one toon when I get bored with PvP an he is only 40 with ugly armor. The rest of my slots are filled with level 2 toons but I PvP with most of them on a regular basis and each has its own PvP set which look much nicer than the starter sets. If I could see these armors at character select I would be very happy.

seeing as how I’m level 2 on all my chars and it will probably always be that way I’d probably like to see my ranked chars displayed on select.

If you’re in the Mists on logging, that would be fitting yes.

Together with this I would like to be able to use my pvp looks while leveling and such as well.
Just like dye’s: you earened the look, you can use it.

The reason for this is: during pvp matches you get smutged in blue or red paint. You hardly notice anyone’s gear anymore, except maybe the form of a hat.
Hats are becoming the distinctive feature to tell somebody’s pvp level (or rank).
Beyond the hats, I hardly notice anything on anyone’s gear.

This results in the simple truth that the whole reward of the pvp grind, namely your pvp gear models, is only noticable… when idling in the Mists!
That isn’t enough, it really isn’t.

This is a cool idea.

A lot of people just play pvp, but many others still prefer one armor set over another.

One of this games greatest strengths is customization in appearance. I was befuddled at first, but now I’m just disheartened in their decision to turn this aspect into a weakness with red or blue armor in battle. However, things may change soon…

Come on Anet: you can do it!

tbh pretty useless, but i guess when anet has some time and all the bugs etc etc are fixed maybe then

that would be awesome.

What’s the point? How much time do you spend ogling your characters in the selection screen? There’s far more important things for them to implement.

Well actually i said already that it`s a nice minor tweak and it would be nice.
