Do you look at your keys?
well i guess anyone who spends most of the time of his life with gaming wont look at the keyboard, i grew up with a pc in my room so i can write /play without looking at the keyboard , its like muscle memory, but i think thats absolutly normal if you use the pc for at least 10-12 hours a day like in my case for playing and for work
you can only when 1v1 and have time to dedicate at your single target.
this is why dueling are way cool ( not better. cool ) than other spvp cleaveaoewtfishappening.
into the aoe cleave, just look if some1 is raising his hand and interrupt it ( it’s a random aoe cc spam, so could happen somehow ).
or if protection appears, remove it instant.
Also, god, you can’t make any feint cause you only get 4 sec cd on your skill, lawl.

Everything is on the mouse for me so no I never look at the keyboard.
Of course you need to be able to „blind“ type. What’s the benefit of a keybinding if you have to look at your keyboard instead of you screen? You need to practice that, if not it is not much better then clicking.
Luckily I’m used to “10 Fingers Typing” so I don’t have any problem with it and wouldn’t even think of looking on my keyboard.
I can’t do touch type since my hand has less sensation as a result of a stroke I had. I don’t use key binds and I click on each and every skill on my skill bar to activate them. Yet I’d say I do pretty well and made it almost exclusively solo to diamond by playing intensively for 2 weeks and not at all otherwise (I wanted my Nevermore, Raid, Fractals, leveling pve etc.).
My 7 year old can play without looking.. Really this is a thing? It’s like not being able to use a TV remote….
If you came from console gaming you take it for granted that you do not look at your controller, or the keys.

I suspect you do not do 1v1s, but play more support, from a distance, or with lots of passive defense and passive offense.

I duel a lot actually and win more than I loose.
It’s about practice really, but generally if you wanna be a decent player you need to be able to play without looking at your keyboard or skills.
While some find it unbelievable someone cannot do that there are some people who have issues with it and it’s normal. When I got a new pc, I switched from normal keyboard to mechanical and it took me quite a while to be able to get used to it. Buz yeah, just practice and you’ll be able to play without looking at your keyboard eventually.
This is one of the reasons i dont advocate telling new players how they should keybind, you often have new players asking which skills they should bind to which key and then some experienced player tells them thier keybinds and the new player will copy it exactly and then end up playing worse because they try too hard to follow someone elses keybind setup and just end up pressing all the wrong buttons
There is no “correct” keybind layout, only what works best for you
I never look at keyboard when play, and I dont use any key binds either! I do everything with left hand, and use the right hand to move around!
Seriously, this is something I think most players do, not watching keyboard while playing!
When you switch laptop I can find it a bit weird for some hours, like when I upgraded from my Alienware 13 to my new msi gs40. But once you get used to the new keyboard it works like a charm, just as it did before!
Ive adopted an xbox controller layout so i don’t have to worry about not remembering where my keybinds are. =p
I never look at keybinds unless i play new class. Usually it takes few days to get used to it and have no need to look at keys/spells. Then again i had similar keybinds since….2007ish? in every game i played (for example backstab kind of spells were always S, dodge similar spells on F etc.)

Yes I can touch type but I use a Naga mouse for most of my actual inputs.
