I’m curious. I’m racked up about 33K glory (which, if I’m right, is probably quite small of a pool compared some of you) and I see no reason to spend it.

So do you spend Glory or just let it pile up?

When I need mats I buy a bunch of chests…

And when I hit every 10 levels I buy a bunch of chests toget the majority of the armor for

I spend it to make dye and thats it.

I always keep 250k+ glory just in case if a miracle would happen. But I spend the amount above my limit to dyes.

Ah dyes, that’s a good idea! I know chests give dyes, but that’s all RNG. Disappointing if I don’t get any.

I forgot to mention that. Lol.

I made/sold dyes and bought 2 sets of dragon wings with 150,000 glory. RNG helped but now I’m sitting on 1 set as an investment.

There is a recipe for dye in the PvP mystic forge. if you put in the 4 ingredients you get an unidentified dye for 100% chance.

I’d make mor edyes but it’s too much effort for me heh.

I use to buy chests and salvage for dyes but it got boring rather fast so now I sit on 290k glory. I have like 200 glory boosters as well. Glory is worth as much as a Papiermark

I hope there is a better use for Glory in the future. Perhaps buying laurels with them?

That will never happen. Laurels are not intended to be farmed but rather they are there to lure people back on a daily basis. They could offer some of the tonics/skins that are available through laurels for glory though.1 million glory for endless mystery cat tonic? Yes please. Maybe the booster’s and letter’s of commendations as well. Dye’s are already available but making them purchasable rather then having to craft them would also be nice. Maybe add skills books so if people want to level there characters they can unlock skills much earlier to make it easier. Also, if they added a gw1 style cape for 1 million glory I would get that so fast.

I just spend glory on slot bags, I’m sure everyone else does as well. The only reason I have to open chests isn’t for dyes, its for the finishers.

Also I don’t spend glory on chests every 10 ranks, I open the match win reward chests every 10 ranks because match win reward chests give out tournament stuff and rank related stuff as well except for finishers. I’m sitting on 260k glory right now and 420 match win reward chests, I’d be rank 50 by now but lack of motivation to play like I use to keeps kicking in.

I buy enough bags of the highest possible quality for the glory, buy about 50 chests when I hit a new “tier” and save the rest for a rainy day.

I buy lots and lots of consumable tokens (like 10) each day, which runs me about a third of the glory I make.. >.> other then that I’m up to 250k.. I’m sure there’s millionaires out there.. I think Java was part of the 1%..

Bought a gold chest yesterday, got a Celestial Dye out of it.

Don’t think they will. They already let us keep PvP bags and dyes, so why not this.

dont know – maby because its Arenanet and it could be a bit toooooo much for PVPers?^^

and it have to be a bug cause it dont count in mists for the archievment but in pvezones – when read arenanet rules it could be exploiting to do this^^

If making something in the Mystic Toilet wouldn’t be such a hurdle (when you try make more than 1 thing) I would make some more dyes. Let’s hope we get the promised reward rework sooner than later.

this… but right now im rank 40 and the chance i will get next tier in a realistic amount of time is imposible, so i wont probably spend glory anymore i still hope they will redesign the reward system soon…

anyway, the fact that next tier is very far away discourages me from playing and making the goal even farther… so i play only hot join for daily and sometimes few tournaments with friends

it would be nice if i could convert my glory into wvw badges or fractal badges

or just buy ascended gear right away.

550k+ glory…already made dyes and already lost all hopes in some nice drop, i just don’t look @ glory anymore…they can delete it already from the game since it’s the most unuseful currency in morpg’s history..
