So first off, you’re going on the same path as guild wars 1, removing things that don’t need to be removed. Removing glory, some what understandable..you know IF YOU ADD A REPLACEMENT FOR SAID REWARDS IMMEDIATELY or at least AT LEAST have transparency when it comes to if pvp rewards are going to return or not. Keeping us guessing does not make it more exciting it’s not fun it’s demoralizing. Have you seen how much hot join / spvp / tpvp has declined since the patch? I just don’t understand the reasoning behind not offering a replacement immediately but I digress.

“We’ve been watching tournaments” good so you know about decap engies your answer? put in a match with no cap points so they can’t decap right? right? OH WAIT IT’S ONLY AVAILABLE IN CUSTOM ARENAS GREAT! Now lets be realistic what’s the percentage of players in this game that play tournies? I’ll answer that for you A VERY GOD kitten SMALL PERCENTAGE the majority? hot join, spvp, tpvp. Why not just deal with this ridiculous cheese that’s fun for no one, it’s not fun to play it’s not fun to play against.

Now i’ve been playing this game since pre-release wanna know what was promised? Paid tournaments YEAH REMEMBER THOSE. ADD THEM!

Enough ranting, you don’t need to be criticized this is what will make 90% of the community happy.

Add rewards/ be clear about what we’re to expect.

ACTUALLY BALANCE THE GAME I know it’s hard trust me I do, but use your community EVE does it and it’s amazing we play the game a kitten ton we can help.

ADD A VIABLE WAY TO LEVEL THROUGH PVP. I say this because although it’s possible to do it through WvW it’s extremely not fun. You do no damage, get one shot and overall have a bad time. Tomes of knowledge were a great alternative for this with removing glory my idea was reward tickets for each spvp/tpvp win and give rewards in increments. For example 2 tickets = one tome pretty simple it would take 160 tpvp wins for a level 80 which is a decent amount of wins and could take about the time it would to hit 1-80 through pve depending on skill level and win %. This ticket currency could open up an avenue to other unlockables as well.

Just a thought.

This guy is a genius. ANet should hire him.
