There are so many burns op threads on the PvP forums but yet ANet does nothing in regards of nerfs or mentioning anything. I’d rather have EA moderate this game… For real.

Arenanet balances Elementalist thinking that players are only capable of managing 2 attunements. Hence why it’s been OP for a year and a half and just received substantial buffs. There’s no other way to explain it.

You’re so close to irreversible insanity. I would suggest you to take a break from the game: end your vacations and go back to slavery, I mean work. You will feel better after a while. Trust me, I’ve been there (necro for 3 years).

~Technically~ Even Guardian burns are “op”, Guardian’s problem has less to do with their damage potential and burning and lack of condition coverage, and generally just not being… you know… An Elementalist. :P

That said, yeah MANY of the issues could be fixed via Ring of Fire and a few other things. Don’t really feel like getting into it anymore. I’m pretty done with fighting with delusional elementalists who think RoF is a L2P issue, neverminding the fact that its a 4.5k damage ring, not even wall that can be kept up 50% of the fight, on a game mode centered around fighting on a circle, and Elementalist d/d having 300 range where as most melee have 130… Buuuut anyways… >_>;

Ring of Fire is fine. Elementalist is balanced.

Burn Guardian is not OP, gimmicky maybe, but not OP.

Okay, Necro. You’re being way to exaggerative right now. Ele hasn’t been OP for a year and a half. The only thing that’s over the top right now is cele elementalist. That’s due to burning changes.

Cut down on available burn stacks or shave celestial amulet. Stop calling for a nerf bat the size of Mt. Moon.

He does, look at his posts and you’ll see all he does is spam mundane 4-5 word responses on every thread. He also plays d/d ele in game and I had the pleasure of having him rage/ talk kitten and block me before I could respond at the end of an unranked game today. Nice guy.

There are forum moderators,
They do read the forums
There are forum specialists
We do report threads to the dev team
They will not reply to every thread
Spamming threads is never a good way to get anything done

Anet use to be very good at sharing everything; however, the community turned it into a stab anet fest when they missed a deadline by 0.00000001 of a second.

I wouldnt since you complaint is a L2P issue as oppose to it being a problem. Anet cant fix crappy pvp players.

There is a trick so anet devs will read your forum post. Make the title of your thread “GJ anet” or “Anet you’re amazing” or “I want to send cupcakes to anet”, and your thread is guaranteed to be read by atleast 10 devs.

As far as I know they read it, but they have a policy that they can’t reply (only the designated individuals) or something.

Leap of faith/Jump Shot/Rush/Swoop/Teleports in/out…. exactly when Ele/Guard pops a Fire Field… that’s instant 6 stacks. You receive another 3 stacks because you simply have no idea if you’re inside the field.. or out…

Wanna know why Ele’s RoF is potentially more OP than Guardian’s purging flames? It is instant cast and can be thrown every 10 to 12s. Don’t say RoF is a l2p issue when it’s sometimes unavoidable. If we could immediately cancel our spells then sure.

No skill should be able to deal 4x+++ its intended damage. Anything over 6 burn stacks is ridiculous for these single skills. There HAS to be a stack cap or some type of icd.
