Guild Wars 2

With almost no real answers to the problems facing PvP other than “We’ll fix the whole purposefully losing games thing being beneficial”, I’m wondering if Anet is just deciding to just let this game’s PvP(one of its major draws) crumble. They just seem to be screaming “ESPOOOORRTTSS” at the top of their lungs while old and new problems continue to get worse and players continue to get more and more frustrated. I’d just like Anet to do something rather than just salivate over esports and put in shiny new gem store items, which is all they seem to be doing PvP wise. If I’ve missed something Anet has said regarding the state of PvP, please feel free to post it here. If you think my complaints are completely unfounded, please tell me why. Here’s hoping that Anet goes against my expectations.

I’ll summarize that post. Everything is fine. There’s a little bump in the new system, but don’t worry. If you aren’t getting matches or you’re being farmed by teams or you’re constantly having members bail to dump their mmr. Every. Thing. Is. Fine.

Those aren’t answers to any of the real problems in PvP leagues. They are just ignoring most of them.

All I know is that when I had played 14 unranked matches and won 9 of them I played against a team that all had legendary champion title and all shared the same guild tag.

We got powerfully driven. After I just figured the care factor was never really there to begin with…so I never really cared either…I especially never cared enough to want to spend money in game again…and I never did.

Funny how when the customer doesn’t feel like they are being given a product that has been carefully designed to make it a fun experience, then they in turn don’t care enough to wanna support the experience any further.

At any rate, anet has heard all this before..seen it all before..had players come, had many leave blah blah and nothing ever really changes. Players unhappy, compnay returns 3% less each year than they were the year before, key staff moving to other companies… Lose-lose for everyone. At this stage I just feel bad for both people. Nobody is getting the experience they want.

I made a decision to basically log in for daily and thats it. No motivation to play a game that timegates pvp players, kittens on my main class for kitten near half a year, then throws out a league system that consciously punishes players for being solo. I was having fun (when all my friends were on that are good enough at pvp that I lose to them on my thief. says something, right there) but thats kinda gone. Still gonna hit forums, but I’m just looking for something that is enjoyable now. =/ I might pve? Or I might just make a “thank you anet for your time, enjoy your game, see you in 2k16 when you see it didn’t work out and fixed at least one problem” kinda post. =/
