Hi,
I wonder if position in the scoreboard list in the beginning of the match means anything. My name appears in different positions every match. It is not alphabetical ordering, and doesn’t seem related to the order people show up in the room. Is it related to skill or something or just completely random?

It’s based on who on the team is the coolest guy and likes to party the most, IMO.

I would assume it’s the order they entered queue

I have always assumed the list based on rank, which is why one sometimes has streaks of being in the middle (ie matchmaker win at least for you). But I’m not so sure.

Height. Definitely height. Or width.

I seem to be on a stronger team when I am above the middle position. Usually I am in the middle and my name appears as my team’s name.

It’s based on the order that people load the maps, people with the fastest computers will be at the top.
