Honestly necro scepter is fine in its current state. If you really want to put a boon corrupt on an auto attack put it on axe. Unlike scepter that weapon is still subpar.

8 stacks of stab into fear with an auto? ya for real.

with just autos its one boon corrupted every 1.5 seconds. that is insane. at that point boons just become a liability.

U guys acting like the necro will just sit there & press 1 all match, get real.

Actually i’d like to see it become a curses grandmaster – auto attacks (any weapon) corrupt one boon (internal cd: 3s). I’d buy that for a dollar! And boy could staff auto use this! Staff is pretty horrid (unless you’re a full on condi reaper) – pop marks and then pray the weapon swap goes off before you grow a beard…

get real dude have u tried scepter auto? it still weak and it takes way longer that 1.5 secknds to complete. I’d say like 2-2.5s.
and even with the torment on 3 and the corrupt on auto necro scepter still has a weak condi aplication.. I would drop it for mesmer scepter anytime..

yeah, but when autos corrupt your stab, resistance, 25 might, etc then your long cooldowns have been countered by an auto. getting your stab from dodge roll corrupted into fear will be equal parts infuriating and hilarious.

most classes have no corrupts, and work to keep boons up, the builds often rely on boons to work. most builds have limited condi clear too. excessive passive boon corruption is really strong vs any build that relys on boons, or even generates a moderate amount of boons.

1.5s? Do some people know what after cast is. The entire chain takes roughly 2.4s to complete. Boons are so commonplace that even this isn’t s huge change or will dent them in most classes.
