The downed state in spvp is becoming ridiculous as to how OP some classes are, compared to others. Why would anyone in the right mind think the downed state is balanced when you have classes like thieves and mesmers who take on average around 3 stomps to take down against most that only take 2, excluding the elementalist which 80% of the time only takes 1. You NEED to make every downed ability the same, remove it, or change it so everyone has the same amount of stomp stoppers. (incl. stealthing) because at the moment it is just ridiculous.

I never have to stomp a thief or mesmer 3 times. Do you dance around their bodies before attempting each stomp or something? If you do, that is just cruel man….

The only thing that needs to go are these threads. I like how you rarely see a thread about this UNTIL the devs said they were focusing on balancing the down system. That’s when all of a sudden, people are making complaints begging for it to go? I mean what the heck will that accomplish?

They did this on the LoL threads too, no one complains about a class, but when a dev says they’re nerfing it, you see 100 threads saying “please nerf it” What’s the point?

No. Average of 3 stomps says you’re doing it wrong, down the mesmer with the marker over his head, or the one with the black dust around him after he presses 2.
As for thief, if you don’t immediately finish them, then you should just attack their body, which doesn’t take that many hits for a thief.
