I realized the other day that I have never seen the Dragon Rank Finisher or any Rank Finisher above Shark and I wondered whether anyone on the forums cared to post a picture or a video of it.

A couple people might have phoenix (rank 70) by now, but nobody has dragon. I’d be curious to see them as well. I did see a “video” of phoenix on youtube, but it just showed the animation on a blank screen (not real ingame footage). Seemed legit though.
Tiger and bear are really bad compared to wolf…. they were rushed, shark finisher is awesome, might dare to say more impressive than the phoenix video thats up on the wiki.

Actually a finisher gallery would be nice, I have never seen Phoenix, Bear, or Tiger either. Also I kind of suspected that no one had gotten dragon yet

Hard to take wolf finisher seriously, having heard of the ‘three wolf moon’ shirt. I think we’ll see dragon sooner than a few years. It may have taken years for anyone to reach max pvp ranks in Gw1, but you don’t actually need to win to rank here (consecutively winning was needed too in gw1 to really get any significant amount of points). As mentioned already in this thread…sleep trading, lol. All it takes is a long grind by a decent player. I’ll be surprised if there is no dragon rank person 1-2 years from now.
Also: before this devolves back into the rant about rank being a meaningless indicator of skill. Sure, rank indicates experience though, and let’s be honest, that is what most of ‘skill’ involves in these games. Very few players have a ‘god given talent’ to play video games (lol). Some have a better potential for these things than others, but really experience makes the biggest difference. They might not win the world championship, but it is difficult to get all the way to rank 80 and not be pretty good at the game.
Still aiming at phoenix (54 atm) but it’s a long way to go if you mainly play tpvp and don’t farm hotzerg 24/7 like a braindead bot…have it in gw1 and want it in gw2…don’t really care bout dragon…it’s just…too far away like it was in gw1
Bear is just…fat and tiger was a little cat crying…wolf and dolyak still best imo, now i’m going for shark and it looks even worse than bear…even a monkey with drum plates (Homer simpson’s brain style) would be better than shark..
I wish leader board would not only show wins and loses which many could care less about but show ranks and who’s where. As a person who deals in stats all day long I would actually love it if the leader boards where broke down so you could see other states like deathblows and stomps and even rank and who’s on top!
Vee Wee hit rank 80 back in january but refuses to show us the finisher! come on Vee Wee! i’ve seen your rank 80 bar now show us the finisher!
Vee Wee never hit rank 80, she just says she did for attention. She never shows an account that has hit 80, and claims that “it breaks the game” and her “hitting 80 made her main account unplayable”. The truth is, no one is rank 80 yet, its impossible. Once you hit 70, you are half way to 80, and people are just starting to hit early 70’s.
